TFT RNG?

Now, just to be clear; this is coming from someone who doesn't play TFT in high ranks, so I don't have the experience of diamond or challenger players do. This is the opinion of somebody in Bronze III, and may not apply to higher players.

Despite the fact that TFT is supposed to be semi-based on RNG and semi based on skill, I feel like a majority of the wins or losses you get are strictly based on a roll of the die. If you get items and the right champions in bracket early game, you will stomp out anyone, regardless of the meta. In fact, early game is STRICTLY based on who has level twos first. There is almost no skill involved. Usually, I just buy four lvl 1 champions (if I'm lucky, one lvl 2), for the almost guaranteed win. It admittedly evens out late game (somewhat), but the HP difference that was acquired early game still allows you to have an advantage to survive a few hits (that other players often can't afford).

And while this is coming from someone who has had many frustrating games where I've gotten no items and no lvl twos in the first minion bracket, I've also had ridiculous games. The main reason I'm writing this thread is because of a Tristana I had a few games ago. Before my first opponent, I had guinsoos, red buff, and IE on her, and I went undefeated until giant birds. The only "skill" I had to get second place that game was to know which items made what. Though I didn't get first, it still stands to say that the items that are given to you give you a significant advantage or disadvantage over other players.

There's no counterplay. If you don't get any items, you don't get any items. There is no way (until hextech) to counter or control the amount of items your opponent has. And everyone who doesn't have an item shouldn't have to build hextech to be on even ground. It's an unfair mechanic that riot needs to fix. Nobody should feel cheated out of a win because they got unlucky.

Yeah, I only read the first bit and I agree, I feel like what you buy should become more common to spawn for you (commonality won't be made as high for gold champs, obviously). That way it's more comp oriented than RNG. Because ranked means you are serious about winning, no reason trying if the dice say no. I am also low elo but I still think my point stands. I would like a higher elo PoV on this though for input.
