Why do we have a champion that can deal more damage and be more tanky than a fed champion? Well let's ask the riot employees what they were thinking. "Strategic Diversity" is what they will say, when a champion has a 75% win rate in the 15 minutes he was released shows you riot did something very well. All I ask is to please NERF this crazy insanely op champion. :)
And how exactly do you think he should be nerfed? Longer cooldowns? Lower ratios on abilities? Lowered base stats? There's not just a "who does rito nerf?" but also a why and how. The who is obviously written, the why could probably go into more detail than one match which arguably has 2 champs who carried (

), and the how is probably why you began this thread. I think it would be better to address the specific problems that you think cause a specific winrate than the winrate itself, since it seems the only justification for a nerf is his winrate.
The patch is emphasizing one of the problems I've had with the game for a long time. These champions that can be super tanky, but also do so much damage.
It's not right that some of them can do both. There needs to be a trade off.
the issue is mostly his W. he can shield every 3-4 seconds and the shield amount is humongous. he literally loses no healths in1v1 engagements. and if he does, you are prolly in your 10% of health bar.

Skarner has been like this forever, but people only realize that when they see him for the first time since... who knows when? I play him a lot and I haven't much with the new patch but I'm pretty sure he does the same stuff (hit kit wasn't changed too much, just stat buffs etc and stun moved around) so now he just does it more reliably and sooner.
