Wouldn't it be awesome to view someones profile and watch the highlights people record from their games. I think this would be an amazing feature for riot to implement into league of legends. It would almost be like a portfolio of you you are as a league of legends player displaying clutch plays and cool mechanics to other people who view your profile.

Hey guys -- there's a lot of negativity going on in this thread already. If you don't like an idea that's fine -- but posting nothing but "this is stupid" isn't really the sort of behavior we'd like to see on Concepts & Creations. At least be polite in expressing your disagreement, please.
I like the idea in principle, but I do wonder if the development time is worth it. You'd need to build the back end for replays (something I believe Riot is working slowly on), then a new back end for storing them in a profile AND a way to make sure they don't break when a patch occurs.
Would it be awesome to have a way to showcase my play? Certainly. But I'm not sure it would matter much to others, since I don't think many friends routinely browse my profile. So I think my conclusion would be that it's a fun idea, but I'd rather than development time go into something more appreciable overall. Replays and the ability to upload videos elsewhere seem like they'd be sufficient for most purposes I'd want this feature for.
