Udyr's Long Deserved Respect
Dear Riot,
Ever since season 1, I have been in love with the Spirit Walker badass, Udyr
. Through the forces of nature, Udyr is able to harness the speed and ferocity of the tiger, resilience of the turtle, might of the bear, and eternal fire of the phoenix to carry out the will of nature
. From protecting the wild and peaceful ionians, Udyr definitely deserves some respect. Not too long ago, the Developers have blessed the summoners with new, long deserved splash art that truly captures the essence of Udyr's character (http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Udyr_0.jpg).
However, it is sad to say that the Udyr himself has not been touched by blessing. Udyr himself is left to to take the teasing of summoners because of his sheer ugliness. From his abnormally fat body to his spiky shoulders to his much to large clothing, Udyr is in DIRE need of a visual update (http://www.newsoflegends.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/ixzQdF6.png). I believe that Udyr at least deserves to resemble his splash art.
The depiction of Udyr in the Splash art is spot on:
- A sleek pelt of the animal spirit power he is harnessing
- Light clothing without unnecessary spiky shoulders
- Tattered robe that doesn't hinder movement due to massive size and captures the feral characteristic of Udyr
All these are features within Udyr's new splash art that are not seen on the character itself. Please Riot, I humbly request that Udyr's in-game character model be updated to respect the spirit walker and pay homage to the Nature he protects
