Jax Jungle Needs Buffs?

So this is my first post on this website so hello hello. I am a Jax jungle one trick and I have recently learned that Jax top lane is much better than Jax jungle. Now why I asked apparently you miss out on a ton of farm,exp, and items. Now, Jax, is a jungler doesn't that mean that he should have at least a few buffs to help him clear faster or maybe some early game damage? I understand his ganks are amazing but they can backfire if they decide to counter gank you.
