Daughter of a high-ranking general in the Noxian army, Vera never saw the morals of her home as her own. The way that Noxian soldiers fought held unnecessary cruelty in her eyes. She understood the need for violence at times, and was never against it. All her life, her father pushed her to train with the most skilled swordsmen in all of Noxus, under his command. She enjoyed her training, though would never admit it to her father, afraid to be sent to fight alongside the men she deemed so terrible. For many years, she avoided the possibility, until her father asked her what she thought about becoming a Noxian soldier. A strong man, he had a childlike glimmer in his eyes at the thought of her following in his footsteps. To her own surprise, she agreed to join, not willing to break the heart of a man who gave her everything. Vera was more like him than anyone else, her mother had died while giving birth to her brother, who also didn't survive. She was just a little girl when she lost her mother, but her father always took on both roles - all the while, upholding an outstanding reputation with the army. Vera was terrified at the thought of taking up arms. She considered fleeing Noxus, unable to ever return, but the pain it would cause her father halted that idea.

On her first day of service, the Noxian army raided a small village. A young boy was the last survivor, and while her father watched, two soldiers commanded her to end the boy's life. She looked up at the men with hate in their eyes, and up at her father, whose were empty. Why, she wondered, did this boy need to die? Why did she have to commit this act? Overwhelmed by a deafening conscience, she turned to the boy, and shred her loyalty to Noxus, stabbing both soldiers with each of her swords, ending their lives instantly. The boy was gone as soon as she turned back. Just a few steps away, her father stood, stunned by the betrayal of his only daughter. This was the closest to tears Vera had ever seen him come. After a moment of staring, a moment that felt like an eternity, Vera's father pointed at the road out of this village. She ran away, and her heart tore, hoping that someday, she would be rejoined with her father, who deserved nothing less than loyalty. Vera knew, however, that she would never even see her father again.

"The right decision may sometimes be a wrong one shrouded in lies; it's the decider that becomes one of the two." -Vera

Primary Role : Fighter Secondary Role : Assassin

Passive - Honor - Being around an enemy champion's death will increase Vera's attack damage greatly for a very short time period.

Q - Judgement - Vera passes judgement on a nearby enemy, striking through them with both of her swords, dealing less damage to additional enemies it passes through.

W - Dignified - Passive : Vera gains small amounts movement speed based on her bonus attack damage.

Active : After an enemy auto attacks, Vera can activate Dignified to dash through them, ending up behind the enemy, dealing great damage, and with a high cooldown.

E - Glory - Vera can take hold of both swords together and swipe in front of her in a semicircle with a large range, either starting from her left, or from her right. Glory's cooldown is lowered slightly every time Vera takes damage.

R - Righteous - Vera summons all of her strength and stabs the ground beneath her with both of her swords, causing enemies around her in close range to be stunned and taking minor damage, while enemies in a larger range in front of her are knocked up, taking greater damage.

Appearance : Vera is what it would look like if Katarina and Leona had a love-child. She would have some armor, but not over her entire body, she would wield two longswords. I picture her with brown hair and blue eyes.

Other Notes :

  • I think of her as somewhat of a jungler.
  • One of the few melee champions who only needs to buy one defensive item to have survivability.
  • Joke/Laugh/Taunt all have to do with honor because it's her thing.
  • Dance would be dirty dancing because it's ironic.
  • Enemies with Noxians.
  • No true allies.
  • I kind of felt like thinking of a female champion who actually might be able to 1v1 Fiora.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this concept!
