New Champion: Hit and Run, the Twin Yordles
Concept: Twin Yordles from Zaun with motorcycle and sidecar. One (female yordle named Run) moves around while the other attacks (male yordle named Hit).
Background: Born in Bandle City, Liana dreamed of being a famous inventor like Heimerdinger. As soon as she could she headed to Piltover to study engineering, but in her young naivety, she took out loans from some rather immoral people. Soon enough Liana found herself too in debt to live in Piltover or even move back to Bandle City, and thus her only option was to move down to Zaun. Years passed and at some point Liana found love and even gave birth to twins, a boy, and a girl, only to be abandoned by her supposed true love. Despite all this, Liana stayed optimistic that she would raise her two children comfortably and become successful. Unfortunately, optimism isn't always good enough.
After a few peaceful (well as peaceful as it can be in Zaun) years, a fateful day started as normally as possible. Liana woke her children and set up breakfast. Right after breakfast, the mother would homeschool the two on every type of engineering she could for a few hours before she went on her daily quest to find a job. This class never came, instead, there was loud knocking at the door with Liana ordering the children off to a hiding place underneath. From the small space, the twins couldn't make out what they were saying, but they did hear one thing. A gunshot followed by an evil laugh. Once the collectors left the room to ransack the house, the siblings left their hiding space. Their mother, still on the ground, beckoned them. Once close she left them with her final words, "I'm sorry your mother was so stupid. Even now I'm abandoning you just like your father. If anything I can tell you this, in the garage, there's a motorcycle and a gun I made, use it and escape, don't ever come back, stay safe, I love you two." and with that, she was gone. Filled with rage, the twins couldn't just leave. They went to the garage and took what their mother left them. With that though, The brother found miscellaneous technology and with all the knowledge his mother left, went to work making a bomb. As soon as he was finished, they left, but not before blowing their old house to shreds. As they left the watched the fire rage and the two knew they weren't leaving until everyone paid. The police were obviously not going to help, being as corrupt as they were, so the twins were on their own.
Years later, there are two criminals, named Hit and Run which illustrate exactly how these two attack. Within minutes of anyone spotting a motorcycle carrying the two yordles, something is on fire. No one knows their real names, but they do know that they're out for some form of chaotic and flammable justice for Zaun.
- I want to include a lot more but this is the basic setting, think of them as a combination of
,
, and batman, but as two yordles in a motorcycle and sidecar
Passive: Hit n' Run Hit can attack and casts spells while Run drives the motorcycle
- This is the thing that makes them different. You know how you have to stop for a second to aa or cast spells? nope
- Ultimate kiter, which is why their range would be low for a ranged champ and they're skills will all be ap. This champ ad would be pretty op I think since it would be almost impossible to catch them or punish them csing.
Q - Molotov/Kaboom Hit throws a medium-range line skill shot Molotov (or fire bomb if censorship laws don't allow Molotovs) that explodes one the first enemy hit and sets them on fire for 2 seconds. After 2 bombs, hit pulls out the "ka-boom" that sets the surrounding area on fire rather than just the enemy hit
- scales with ap
- main damage dealing tool other than e
- Idk if a Molotov/fire bomb is good but I just wanted some type of skill shot to deal damage
W - Overdrive Passive - Run's stores charges of nitrous every 100/90/80/70/60 seconds, maxing at 1/2/2/3/3. Active - Run stops for .75 seconds and uses a charge to gains 50% more movement speed for 8 seconds
- Using this is very risky, as the cooldown is so high, especially at lower levels
- If you're able to get them to use this to escape, it's extremely rewarding
- Adversely, this synergizes with the passive and ult very well so you want to keep it, and a good player will use it at the right time to trap and enemy
E - Hextech Magic gun Toggle - When on, basic attacks deal magic damage based on an ap ratio, but cost 50/80/110/140/170 per bullet
- main damage tool, but also quite costly
- will proc
and
- Due to it synergizing so well with so many items and the passive, the mana cost is high balancing it out
R - Trailblazer Toggle - Hit sets the ground behind Run ablaze for 7 seconds, burning and slowing all enemies that pass through. It cost 100/140/190/240/290 mana per second, and it can't be activated again for 40 seconds
- imagine a
big package and
q - this is supposed to mix with the w to be able to trap enemies in an area.
- the mana cost is hella high because otherwise, you can imagine how op it would be
- It can be stopped by any type of hard cc and silences so cc is very important for the enemy, and items like
and
are practically necessary for the allies.
The skills are only based on ap (except w and passive) for this champ will make it so the build is going to have to be mana, ap, movement speed, and cdr. Because of this, they aren't going to be tanky, and thus any type of cc on them is going to be extremely debilitating. The entire play style of this champ is to use the w + ult to trap the enemy and then use q and e to damage them. Melee champions don't stand a chance and if the player can dodge skill shots well enough, they can easily carry
They'd played top, jg, or mid
- In top lane, goodbye to tanks/melee champs, they'll kite you like a god, but if you can hard cc them and get ganked they won't last
- In jg, they will NEED blue to do anything. The q and e kiting will be enough to clear camps so long they have mana to back it up
- In mid, they will still need blue, but csing to their first mana item will be easy since you can't really punish them for it. Good q poke along with ka-boom, w, e combo can get some good kills, but if you catch them with w on cooldown they have no escape.
The essential items would be

Boots:
or
(but the first would be more likely)
with normal items:

Situational items:

For summoners:
and
or ![]()
The thing I love most about the champ is that they turn some of the laws of league on its head. I feel most strongly about the Passive and Ult, and least on the q. The lore would probably need some work too, but the idea of twin yordles working at the same time as one champ is cool to me. Hit and Run would definitely need the most work on balancing the ap ratios and such since I didn't specify those things. I left them out since I wanted more help on the concepts before working on the fine details. (not like riot actually pays attention to these)
What do you think? Op? Under-powered? Not interesting? I'd really like any kind of feedback. Thank you [slayer-jinx-wink]
