New Aatrox Passive Idea

As stated by a Rioter in a champion's Q&A (if someone could tell me which that'd be great), Aatrox doesn't fit the "Demon Commander" idea very well. What if, to remedy this, Aatrox 's passive was changed to something like a permanent Hecarim W? This would fit the "commander" part of his ideal form well, as he could participate in teamfights as a sustain tank without being absolutely useless when CC'ed.

As an avid Aatrox player, I think this would work very well.

Permanent Hec W as his passive? Similar to Aurelion's passive except Aatrox doesn't lose his passive when he gets hard cc'd, right?

If they want to make Aatrox into a true Demon leader, they have to change his ult as well.

I rather Aatrox gain a aura passive that increase allies as/lifesteal because in the lore it say Aatrox turn the tide of battle and rejuvenate his follower with bloodlust for battle

To fit with the whole demon commander thing, you give Aatrox ult an attack speed and lifesteal buff to his allies , a movement and defense reductions to his enemies, when he hits them with his ult. This would fit with the idea of Aatrox diving in and changing the tide of battle. To balance it, you could remove or lessen the aoe damage or increase the cd.

throwing alternative dimension version of Aatrox just exploring the theme, this is not rework suggestion etc. "it doesn't fit his role kys" again, this is exploration of the theme and not the character neither the role.

P: Demon Marauder Slaughterer of Souls

  • all nearby allies heal by 5 / 7 / 9% of damage you deal. (capping at 10% of their max health) Feast of Souls

  • you heal by 15% of damage allies deal nearby you. (given once per second as single instance, and has cap of 15% of max health) "Nothing is too sacred for Aatrox to take."

Q: Darkest Doom [target enemy in 500] [50 / 55 / 60 / 70 health]

  • deals 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 / 220 (+1.0 AD) damage to target enemy and giving it debuff of darkest doom for 2 seconds.
  • allies attacking enemy with the debuff have 15% extra attack speed.
  • enemy has nearsighted and 50% slow which smoothly wear over the duration. [cooldown 20 / 16 / 12 / 8s.] "A mere wound by the demon commander often results in darkest doom one can face."

W: Conquer [target area in 1000] [40 health]

  • wide blood sigil is drawn to location. all allied units have 40% faster movement speed and ghosted in the area. (does not stack with other movement speed bonuses)
  • lasts for 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 seconds and has width and height of 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 [cooldown 30s.] "Conquered lands are always baptized with fresh blood."

E: The Bloodletting [target enemy champion in 600] [100 health]

  • dashes to the target, dealing damage by 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18% +(0.1 AP) of their current health and getting 50% attack speed for next 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 attacks towards the it in next 6 seconds.
  • you heal by 100% of damage dealt by this ability. (but life steal doesn't affect it) [cooldown 20 / 17 / 15 / 12 / 8s.] "Demon connects his will with his primal willing to evil."

R: Unholy Trade [no target] [100 health]

  • for 3 seconds, all nearby allies are healed by 36 / 43 / 50% of all damage you take. (before reductions) [cooldown 120 / 100 / 80s.] "Not every spawn of evil is capable of doing such a sacrifice."

So it seems the general consensus is to change his ult to something like an old Sion ult.
