Long post, Warning

  1. Abilities
  2. Bio
  3. Notes

I am attempting to write the ability section like a Champion spotlight. Keep that in mind and tell me how I do...

Raven is an assasin fighter with high mobility and mobility oriented damage who uses energy. Her high mobility allows for easy roaming early and mid game, as well as positioning before teamfights. This coupled with her true sight can give your team information they need before a teamfight.

Her passive is Spin jump. This allows Raven to deal physical damage around herself while dashing by entering a basic attack command. Activating Spin jump also extends the length of the dash, and makes her untargetable durring he dash. Ending a dash in which Spin jump has been activated takes slightly longer than without. Her passive is her primary source of damage while dueling, as well as a way to guarantee reaching your destination. The longer range on the dash allows for ganks in un excepted situations, as well as better escapes.

Raven's Q is torch throw. Raven hurls a lit torch out infront of her, which stops at the first enemy champion hit, dealing magic damage and granting true sight of them for a short duration. A DoT is applied to minions when they are passed through. Wards and traps hit by Flaming torch stop it, but are disabled. This ability can be used to check bushes for enemy wards, allowing your jungler safer ganks and deny the opposing team map awareness while roaming. Chasing an enemy through the jungle is also much easier after hitting them with this ability.

Raven's W is Soar. This grants Raven passive movmentspeed. Raven can activate it to dash forward, drawing allied minions toward her. Early game, this can be used to surround an out of place opponent with your minion wave, dealing damage to them with your passive. It can also be used to push lane by clumping minion waves closer together. This can also be used to allow you and your minion wave to escape a gank. The passive movment speed allows easier escapes durring teamfights once your dashes are exhausted, as well as easier roaming.

Raven's E is Treasure grab. This passively grants 1 additional gold whenever she kills a unit or structure. Raven can activate this ability to dash toward an enemy she has dealt damage to recently. If Raven lands close enough to her target, she gains 1/2/3/4/5 gold and the target is stunned for a short duration. This produces Raven plenty of gold to fuel items and her abilities (getting to that later, read on), as well as providing her another dash. Because Raven has to deal damage to the target before she can dash to it, mark a target with her torch or use it to chase a fleeng enemy.

Raven's Ult is Legendary ghost. Activating it stealths Raven for a duration. While stealthed, Raven gains the gold earned by nearby enemy champions, with a maximum of 150 gold gained. Opening a gank with this gives you more time for positioning, but activating it right before the enemy captures an important objective near you can give you a significant gold advantage.

Bio: Born and partially raised a ninja, Raven gave up the life of shadows for one of shiny metal. Armed with the knowledge and prowess of a ninja, she made her name known throughout the adventurer community by snatching up others' bounty at the last moment. A ruthless treasure hunter, nothing can stand in the way of Raven and the gold she's after.

Notes: Raven's passive and Q damage will have AD scalings and current Gold scalings. She has no AP scalings. The current gold scaling poses an interesting problem to players: buy an item and lose damage, or keep your gold. The difficult balance to make would be to have an even split of players who thnk you should build her normal, or more slowly. If one or the other, I would prefer her to be built more slowly and methodically than normal champions. Raven is driven by roaming and ganking, meaning I see her mid and possibly jungle. Jungle may require a kit rework, it could have worked S4, but S5 jungler's need to have sustain. So right now mid is the best option for her.

Like I said, Raven uses energy, allowing many uses of her Q throughout the laning phase to clear wards, as well as allow long roaming sessions. This also gives the opportunity to give mid the blue pill if she jungles. This fits in her lore, where she received ninja training.

Comments and suggestions are well appreciated. I have many other champions which may be appearing on this forum soon, so check them out too. This one is a little out there, but I like odd champs and so try to make them (P.S manaless champs FTW!!!)

She doesn't gain enough gold. Her abilities seem to need a rework.

item 3069 item 3093 item 3154, and any gold build item could be evil on her q and passive. still cool idea though.
