Dear Riot,

I am one unhappy caitlin player who just happened to buy your Resistance Caitlin skin.

The splash art is great but the actual model as bad as bad can get.

The game model does not do the splash art justice at all and I feel completely cheated due to mediocre amount of effort put into this skin.

The ingame model does not look like a resistance fighter at all, just some rebel fascist version of Caitlin. I want the rugged version of a true resistance fighter and please do something about the hair color, It is brown in the splash and black on the model. Her rifle needs to be redesigned as well to look like those wooden russian snipers.

The guy who did the splash art did an amazing job, your dev ruined it.

Needless to say, I returned the skin through the last refund I had left.

This sucks riot, big time!

I hope you remodel that skin in the future.

Till then, I remain an unhappy resistance caitlin fan.

Resistance Caitlyn is** SUPER OLD**, it's actually her Launch Skin (Both the Skin & Caitlyn were launched January 4th, 2011). Chances are that if they ever decided to give that skin a facelift, they would have to give Caitlyn a VGU. Unfortunately, there are so many champions ahead of Caitlyn at the moment. When that day comes, they'll be redoing all her skins including Resistance.

Also worth noting, Resistance Caitlyn is a 520RP skin. These skins aren't very flashy & most of them are just basic recolors of the Base Skin. Besides having a different color palette or a minor change to the model (in this case, Resistance has a different attire), the skin uses the same VFX as the base skin. So I wouldn't expect much when the skin is updated.

It would be great if they gave Caitlyn the Ezreal treatment and redesigned this skin to fit the Resistance line how it is supposed to be. Make Caitlyn a rebel in the dystopian world of the Battlecasts!

And just because it is just 520 RP doesn't mean it couldn't become something great with a VGU. Look what they did with Crabgot, which is 520 RP, too. Sometimes, if there is a great concept for a skin update, they will upgrade it without increasing the cost.

That's fair, alot of Ezreal's 520RP skins did end up turning out nice. We'll just have to wait & see what they do, the Dev's in charge of VGU's probably believe that Caitlyn's gameplay will hold up long enough to give other champions the treatments they need. Wouldn't be opposed to seeing Caitlyn get a Visual Update either, alot of things have changed about Runeterra & Piltover since 2011.
