They said they were open to change it, but they were launching it as RP only to start.
They said they are thinking of IP, or reward for champion mastery.
This!
Plus you are getting 3 skins for 590
Well, color pallets. They aren't technically skins, and Riot admitted to that as well, saying "they are a little bit of both".
Well it's a "recolor" of an existing skin, so essentially it's a "skin" just took them less time to do then the original idea.
Yeah, but you need to own the skin. That's why it is literally both. xD
I didn't read too much about it, but are they offering recolors to default looks? I'd pay for that.
Well yeah there's that... but in most cases when they are for the default skin (i.e Lucian) people will already own that since it's part of the champion. When it's for something like the Dragon Fist Lee Sin they showed then they'd also have to own that skin in order to use that Chroma (so it'd be a bit more overall if they didn't already have that).
I believe I read that if you don't own the skin they just add the total to it, so theSkin+Chroma. But if they can give me an all black Ahri, or a Pink Rengar, I will be fine with spending 590RP.
i like the idea of rewarding for champion mastery through chromas, but they would have to be different from the ones sold to people who haven't mastered said champ (insert smite here)
Technically, not really. Since you are really just paying currently to have them sooner-than-later.
true i suppose, and if people wanna pay for something they can get for free i also don't see the problem. Perhaps a loading screen indicator to show (hey this guy actually plays the champ and didn't buy it).
Oh, they plan on rewarding people for Masteries. I believe they were passing around the idea of giving the player the icon of their champion to use as a summoner icon.
i heard about that, personally i don't like it (i've been rocking the wraith icon for too long to drop it now, ignore current urf icon).
Well, I mean there are other rewards (currently can't remember them). And other people do like the idea, I'd love a Rengar icon.
Im on the case
