I think skin sets are adorable, and the following list of potentially Independence Day skins would be a party. Of course, the logistics of making characters off of nations/historical figures may be problematic, but alas. I hope somebody at least gets a hoot out of this - or better yet, make them better! :)

Waterloo MF exists and realistically speaking, I don't think there would be one that would be that thematically different.
Besides I think Red Coat Caitlyn would be better - she has a British accent after all.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing "colonial General Azir" being the George Washington skin. His soldiers could have rifles with bayonete which Would be super cool.
