Ranked Season 9 Rewards

In response to the video that Riot developers released, I have a few ideas for new ranked rewards that will promote players to actually feel encouraged to climb and feel fulfilled for their long hard efforts.

Season 9 Victorious Skin Idea Just an idea for the Victorious Skin. Instead of just assigning a random champion the skin how about all the players who play League of Legends have a contest to pick it?

So hears how I pictured it, at the start of the season, or sometime before the first split of the season, every player gets five vote tickets. With those vote tickets, you can vote for one champion for each of the 5 roles. In other words, you can vote for one champion for each role to be a candidate for the Victorious Skin.

For example, one person can vote for: Sion Top, Kindred Jg, Swain Mid, Kai’sa ADC, and Pyke Support. Those champions that they voted for will be put into a nationwide vote counter. When the first checkpoint of the season comes to an end, the champion that received the most votes for their specific role will then be one of 5 that will be a candidate for the Victorious Skin. (And to go without saying you can’t vote for champs that already have a Victorious, Championship, Challenger, or Conqueror Skin).

Now during the second split of the season, the amount of time these champions are played will be monitored until the second split comes to an end. The champion with the highest pick/play rate will be the champion that will receive the Victorious Skin.

Now during the third and last split, we can get really crazy. For every Honor level a player has earned, they will receive a new Chroma for the Victorious Skin. This makes honor level 5 more rewarding than just some capsules and promotes people to not flame or troll in the game resulting in fewer reports and bans. Also, there can be a special reward for higher ranked players, like if you are platinum or higher you can get the Victorious Skin of the second place champion, but that champion has no chromas.

So if you remain a good, honorable mentality and climb high enough you can potentially earn TWO Victorious skins and FIVE chromas for one of them.

I believe this will help make getting higher ranks and higher honor level more rewarding and making people in the game want to cooperate and win games. And even if they don't win they will keep a better mentality in order to not get reported and lose their honor. Having a champion vote would promote a sense of community accomplishment through getting the champ that they want to get the Victorious Skin for.
