Idea for a new ranked system.

So this is just basically a repost, someone told me to share my idea on the NA boards since it'll get more attention since a lot of people actually like the idea so here it is.

So this is only my opinion so don't get too angry if you disagree.

So to be honest I think that the Ranked System that we're currently bound to is not needed, the fact that the system dictates our skills level for us is kinda silly in my opinion, because from what I understand is that the system determines where we belong depending on the people we play with and also the amount of times that we win. Meaning the more we win the higher the our MMR goes or something along those lines, yet I find it kinda stupid that when you're plat 1 and have excellent MMR you can be put up against high diamonds. Shouldn't we be just put up against people around the division that we're in no matter the skill level? That's why climbing is so hard, because you get put with higher tier players when you're in a lower tier, honestly it makes 0 sense.

What I think should be done is set a certain amount of LP that should be gained/lost after a win/loss, for example 25LP per win and 25LP per loss, and also remove the MMR system, just leave the division and tier system, or maybe just leave the MMR system for placements or something like that. What this would do is put us with people that are in the division, at the beginning of the season this would make no sense but it would still be kinda the same as the current system. When the divisons and skill level in those divisions level each other out then people who deserve to be in platinum will have no trouble climbing through divisions like silver and gold, why? Because they will be getting put against people who are truly Gold and Silver and if you're on a win streak then you still get put up against people of the same division instead of skill level.

It's kinda hard to explain what I mean but long story short:

• Remove MMR
• Put people up against the same division (Meaning Plat 5 players with Gold 1/Plat 5/Plat 4 player) instead of players that are in the same MMR region as you.
• Winning or losing doesn't change the skill level of opponents unless you get demoted or promoted.
