MMORPG League Of Legends

Hi everyone (& hopefully Devs/moderators)

I've had this idea since some time now, and decided to share/initiate something on my own. You like this game and you've searched for similar ones but in another genre ? (In my case MMORPG) Why not make one RIOT ? (and make money too ? ^^)

Keep the Champions, keep the items, keep the skills, keep the graphics/gameplay. Just tweak it around in a MMORPG-style !

My ideas :

  • Exp takes way longer to get
  • You have to kill legendary monsters/creeps/bosses to loot items (same ones that you find in LoL, only you have to craft them and would take longer)
  • Level-based maps (you cap at max lvl & don't get any more exp from killing stuff until you decide to go to the next one)
  • Both PvP & PvE (you can meet everyone in a lobby-town, chat & make teams & join low lvls on lower maps to help them (but will be down-lvled to cap lvl of said map), you can switch PvP mode and your skills will affect other PvP players on the map) You can imagine every content you'd like to see : special maps with 3, 4, 5 nexuses that respawn say every 6 hours, huge guild fights with rewards to earn (skins, materials to craft items .. you name it)

I think it's highly doable and would not require an extensive amount of work to make it viable, & then improve it.

Your thoughts ? (this is something I wrote without preparation, only so you get the general idea) and english is not my mother tongue so please excuse any mistakes ^^

Make this grow into something !

The playable character would have to be a male/female Summoner with their own customization and abilities and animations while the Champions would be ingame NPCs that you meet through questing because you cant have 150+ playable characters in an mmorpg nor can they be limited to just 4 abilities

There have been a number of threads in the past about this, and they all came to the same conclusion; an MMO setting would water down the world Riot is trying to build too much, and would end up just being another bland MMO.

A more linear RPG seems to be the best way to branch out League into other types of game.

A League MMO has 0 chance vs MMO's like WoW or Black Desert. Only way to win me for example is Black Desert Graphics + Giving me full access to Katarina as a char (rofl) and I actually like MMO's :p

While intriguing as it may be. All riot has to do is release a new skin and they make as much profit as releasing a new game. It's sad to think we may never get a full league related game.
