Been thinking about all the different kinds of species on the rift and we don't have any with the exception of yordles and "people from the void", that have multiple characters from the same species. For example Nami's sister or perhaps Volibear's minister of war. Rengar's feral cousin that is also related to warwick? Just a thought we could really tie in some of these random species deeper into the lore and get an idea of what they can do and where they come from.

Warwick was a man who went insane and got cursed into a wolf, if his lore hasn't been hit with retcon.

Well Skarner is the last known of his species unless they changed his lore, Rammus is magically mutated, Galio was a unique creation, Gnar is technically a yordle, but at the same time he is from thousands of years ago, Nasus and Renekton are brothers, Fizz's species randomly went missing overnight with no explanation. Alot of these characters are given reasons for their solitary existence, or already HAVE people that tie into them.

Humans, like they are in most fantasy worlds, are the dominant race of Runeterra. They will have more champions because there are simply that many more of them to be exceptional.

Your list is also off in the following ways: Gnar is a yordle (a known and common race). Cassiopeia Warwick are human (but cursed).

There are some borderline cases... Nasus Renekton are Ascended (and thus ex-human) in the new lore (like Azir and Xerath ). Shyvana is half-human, half-dragon.

And you forgot the following non-humans: Soraka is a divine creature of indeterminate race. Nocturne is, uh, we're not sure. Kayle Morgana are a non-native angelic race. Aatrox is a Darkin. Fiddlesticks is an animated scarecrow. Jax is, something, but it's not human (he only has three fingers). Orianna Blitzcrank are robots!

I believe what you mean to say is that you want more monstrous races, because there are plenty of non-humans who nonetheless share humanoid appearances and mindsets.

I just really want them to amplify some of the non human species. I mean one Chewbacca was enough but it was really cool to see the Wookiee planet in episode 3 :)
