A New Champ Lore?

Considering that at the time Gnar, Brand and the Watchers were all in their own way extremely destructive power houses I personally find it strange that they all managed to be stopped... With ice.

• Gnar was frozen inside a gigantic chunk of dark ice and only recently broke free.
• Brand was defeated by being caged in a prison of ice hidden in the tundra of the freiljord.
• The watchers were defeated by an unknown hero of ancient times from the freiljord.

Personally i would love it if these heros were the same person, perhaps even an ice mage who sealed themselves away to stop these powers from destroying Runeterra? And perhaps the watchers could break free and break the last line of the enchantment thereby freeing the mage as well? I realize that this really needs work but i think it has i nice backbone for the lore of a new champ perhaps?
