So the passive is roughly the same except when his Passive triggers upon death he will have increased attack speed for a few seconds?
The Q has a smaller knock up Radius but then it slows the targets?
The W can only heal on hit champions instead of monsters? explain this better please. That sounds like a hard nerf to Aatrox jungle. Im sure this is not you intent.
Besides that the W is mostly the same?
The E now consumes his Bloodwell into an enhanced auto attack that resets his auto attack. No longer a skill shot in some way but more of a
passive? Thats just a horrible idea...He will end up as nothing more than Yi 1.5 without the powerful Alpha strike.
Aatrox issue is hes to squishy and unlike Yi he doesn't have a guarantee to avoid skill shots (alpha strike) to help his early ganking.
Aatrox needs to either have more damage so when he gets some tank items he will be able to deal damage like the many tanks already can but not to much hes oppressive or needs a bit more early game survivability so he can get some damage items.
He needs to be more about jumping into fights and staying alive. The issue is he can't stay alive because 1 he builds tank and deals no damage or he builds damage and he gets kited by damage dealers and he cant heal up the damage he takes because he needs a wombo combo to live which isn't very fun to experience on the receiving end. Better off taking Wukong instead of Aatrox provides a much easier and large knock up radius. Mad damage and escapes with his invisibility.
Buffing Aatrox is scary because all it takes is adding to many numbers and you got another Warwick pre-season 5.
His Q needs to give him some resistance (AR-MR) when he lands on an opponent/monster instead of getting him raw tank stats.
His W needs to heal on missing % HP instead Flat HP.
His W needs to Steal % Hp from him (stop health stacking) to deal missing Hp % health of the target with a flat amount and a cap to prevent to much damage being dealt to the target and Aatrox so he won't kill him self.
His E is fine and his R fine and his Passive Bloodwell is fine.
Aatrox should get lifestealing items to counteract the harm from his kit and attack speed to increase the rate in which he deals and heals damage, tank items to help live more and of course on hit items as he isn't based on crit normally as Tryndamere is.
The part I don't like about Aatrox is if he gets so big he could end up like a fed Tryndamere minus the easy spin/escapes and low cooldown revive passive.
Another problem is Aatrox has to build so much shit its insane. Lifesteal? check. At least 2 Tank items? Check. Attack speed? Check. On hit items? Check. Boots?
I think a big issue also is Aatrox needs an item like how assassins got
and tanks got
.
One that contributes to his weakness to alleviate it. Because he has so much of an item weakness he requires a huge variety of items doing different things, hes just not cost efficient.
Now I need to go play a game as Aatrox because I miss him.
