Hey guys, I've been working on this champion concept for a while. Any feedback would be great as i am definitely still working on it. credit to maxioli and catchynickname for helping me with this concept. The scalings may be inaccurate, but i just wanted to give an idea of how much damage it would be.

Lore: Korvac was born into a well enough life. His family was part of a traveling circus, and from a young age he was trained acrobatically. His circus traveled all across Runeterra, trying to bring more fun to lives that were marred with tragedy. Their quest inevitably brought them to Noxus, where tragedy struck. While there, a band of brigands attacked his circus, killing his parents and much of the circus. Korvac and his little sister survived and fled into Noxus. He grew up there, living in the harsh underground with his sister. One day when both were grown, a firefight broke out on the street, catching Korvac's sister in the crossfire. From that point on, Korvac vowed to destroy all evil in the world, starting with Noxus. He became a vigilante by night, but soon realized he needed an extra edge. Korvac embarked on a journey to the shadow isles, looking for his sister. He is the only known person to escape, alive, with his sanity. He had became a different person though. Even darker than he was before. He no longer had remorse for killing. No one has seen his face since. More importantly though, he acquired powers over dark energy. Korvac quickly became a terror of the Noxian underground. Direct threats have been posted, condemning the Noxian high command. He has a personal rivalry with Talon, and they have sparred on some occasions, but never engaged in direct battle. Korvac has entered the League of Legends to show that the skeletons in the Noxian High Command's closet can not hide forever, and he will purge anyone who tries to get in his way.

Kit:

Passive:_ Hunter's Stamina_

Korvac gains 8/12/16/20% (at levels 1/6/11/16) of his max health back on a champion kill. Asssists and large monster kills grant half of the percentage.

  • Before you read any more, I will have you know, that Korvac was meant to be a jungler. So this passive will help survive when ganking. And he will have a pretty big level 6 powerspike with this ability (You'll read about the ult later)
  • large monsters count as dragon, baron, red buff and blue buff
  • The passive only applies on assists if you do more than 10% of the damage

Q: crippling blow

Korvac's next auto-attack strikes at an enemy's weakness, dealing 25/55/85/115/145 (+85% AD) Physical damage and slowing by 10/15/20/25/30% for 2 seconds CD:8 seconds

  • Korvac's heaviest damage dealer and primary attack. Pretty straightforward here.

W: Shroud of Darkness

Korvac sends out dark energies in his immediate area, marking and slowing any champion revealed by 35% for 2.5 seconds. Korvac can cast this again dealing 35/50/65/80/95 (+85% AP) magic damage to all marked champions. CD:55/50/45/40/35

  • This has a shorter range than Quinn w, but it's kind of the same idea
  • interacts with stealth targets normally, but doesn't reveal them

E: Leap of Faith

Korvac jumps a short distance dealing 25/40/55/70/85 (+40% AD) to a unit hit and knocking it up. If the target is facing away from Korvac, it is stunned for .5/1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds CD:24/22/20/18/16

  • has about the same dash distance as shen taunt
  • This ability has great utility during chases and teamfights

R: Into the Night

Korvac becomes stealthed for 10 seconds, removing any cc. Korvac's first damage will silence the target for 2 seconds and deal 150/400/650 physical damage (+25% AD)(+10% missing health). CD:180/150/120 seconds

  • This was a different version before, but it seemed too much like rengar, so I tweaked it a little bit
  • If you cast your q or e while in ult, the damage does not stack, q will do nothing extra, so you should wait until after you ult to activate q. with the e, you can jump to a champion, but it will only silence and to the ult damage, there will be no knockup or extra damage

Play Style:

Korvac is meant to be a jungler. He is a bruiser/ assassin that benefits both from a lot of health, and a lot of damage. He is meant to initiate teamfights with his ult, quickly assassinate one target, and then tank for long enough for the rest of the team to clean up. Early game, he has a lot of gank pressure with his e q combo. He can also invade, really well with his w. Some cons with his early game are that he doesn't clear very well, so he has a reliance on succesful ganks to be strong. In the Mid game, Korvac is the strongest. He can ult in and almost always secure a kill with the silence. Korvac needs tankiness for late game, as he does not have the damage to be viable, much like a renekton or lee sin, except Korvac spikes in the mid game, not early game.

Visual Appearance:

Korvac wears a black cloak with red trim. The cowl is pulled deep over his head, and his face is not seen. His face is never revealed, and no one knows if he even has a face anymore. Korvac auto-attacks with his fists, and on impact purple magic explodes from his fists. The skin released with him will be white knight Korvac, where his cloak is white with black trim, his auto-attacks on this skin pulsate with black energy on impact. On Korvac's q, the magic will be red on hit. On the skin the magic will be blue on hit of a q. Korvac's w throws out black energy on both skins

Champion Quotes:

On Select: "Earth to Earth, Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust"

Movement: "Sooner or later, I will cut you down" "Don't bother running, It's not worth the energy"

Taunt: "Go ahead, I'll give you a headstart"

Joke: "You call these people the good guys?"

Special interactions: Nocturne "I heard you like darkness" Jax "Imagine if I had a weapon"

More will be added as I think of them.

Wait, You can edit these right???

Well that's it. Thanks for reading. I hope this like blows up, but I know that will never happen. I just thought I should post this here because maybe someone can help me with it.

Oh, I'm a terrible artist so there is no concept art...sorry. If anyone wants to change that, that would be most welcome.

I like the lore a lot.

Not really a fan of the 'W' due to it being very similar to, like Canpan14 mentioned, Lee Sins' 'E'.

Maybe the length of the ult is a little long imo..

Overall though, this is one of my favorites that I've read.

Sooo, is he a melee champion? What's his weapon? Sword? Martial Arts? I might've missed it, but I didn't see anything clarifying the weapon part. I think the ultimate is fine, 650 damage won't be as much against people who build extra HP. What is best built with him? AD? AP? Of course it isn't necessary, but imo it's pretty good to include combos and different strategies (in more detail) with his kit. Maybe also a couple items that would be good to build on him? The E seems balanced. Does okay damage and does a knockup or stun, but doesn't have a super long distance. His abilities seem to be more reliant on AP/AD scaling than leveled up damage. This can be a good thing I guess. He seems well balanced in his kit. But what are his weaknesses? One last thing, his Q Is called Crippling Strike. Darius's W is called the EXACT same thing. So I recommend changing that ;)

Overall I think he's pretty cool. Also, if you have the time, please check out my champ concept I just made. It is my first one as well. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/EAmKF96U-champion-concept-haluk-the-tamed-wire

Passive: Just change it to gain X% health on kill. The damage thing will get really tricky with shields and the such. Just not worth the trouble.

Q: Is this an auto attack modifier or just an ability simliar to trundles bite (has melee range but doesn't count as a melee attack)

W: Feels like Lee sins E (not in a bad way). Problem I see is there is no reason not to cast it the second time. You literally lose nothing by saving it. Lee sins costs energy for the second cast so sometimes people don't cast the second part.

E: Really short dash, but the stun (at higher ranks) is really long. You didn't give a cooldown on this btw.

R: Yes op. Cleanse, invisible for 10 seconds, 2 second silence and 650 true damage? At the very least take the true damage out. People need to stop throwing true damage in their kits.

Also as boomer said what kind of champion do you see him being?

I'm willing to bet I'm a worse artist. :P

Passive: Handy for a jungler to have. It is, however, weak pre-6 when you consider how little 2.5% max health is. It also doubles in power at level 6, which, even for a hyper-scaling ability, is extreme. Could its power curve be smoothed out a bit? e.g. something like 6/9/12/15/18% Max Health at levels 1/5/9/13/17?

Q: Tbh, I was kinda disappointed his Q doesn't really 'disarm' the target. I know it was originally named Crippling Strike, but it's more like a strategic punch in the pressure point that knocks the wind out of you. Anyway, pretty straightforward, like you said.

W: Useful against a horde of enemies. I believe the cooldown at rank 1 is 55 seconds: is there a reason for that? The damage isn't too high, and a 35% AoE slow for 2.5 seconds is strong in the right scenario, but boy, that's a long cooldown.

E: I'll remind myself not to run away from this guy. By knockup, do you mean a mini-knockup like when Jarvan Q's to his standard, or a hardcore knockup like a Cho'Gath Q? (Basically, .5 seconds or 1 second?) Thematically, does the 'you can't run away from me' vibe stem from his lore?

R: Incredibly strong. Pop ult, cleanse away that pesky Enchanted Crystal Arrow, go into stealth, get the heck outta there, find the nearest Teemo, slam him so hard he'll fly into a tree trunk ten feet away. Awesome. Too awesome? Maybe. Riot maintains a negative stance against Assassins with silences because the combination of burst + lack of counterplay is something they dislike. Still, Korvan is an Assassin/Tank, so he might be able to get away with it. I don't know for sure. Then again, it's an ult.

Cool backstory btw. When he went to the Shadow Isles, did he find any sign of his sister at all?
