Ancient Syndra [Fan Concept], Tristan Dang

Skin concept for one of my two favorite champions! (Right behind Jhin!) My prompting idea was: Syndra if she was sealed away in fear of her power. Through iteration, she become this sort of primordial and powerful goddess locked away by her own peoples.

I tried to show my iterative process as I waded through this project as best as possible. I also tried to get as many outside perspectives at each juncture as I could, and ultimately combined those opinions with my own judgement to make the final decisions.

I don't even play Syndra but if this ever became a real skin, I would buy her just so I could get the skin to. I love the concept of it, in that she's sort of like a trapped god/higher being, although I could be mistaken. Either way, I love it and you're an amazing artist.

Only thing I would change are the arms. Wish they were more like the legs with the energy and not so much completely sealed off. Same with the head piece. Other than great concept.

I love the concept, but I don't believe it has an "ancient" feel to it. Your skin makes her look like more of a golem an something ancient. It's definitely a great skin, nonetheless. Your work really shines in the ability effects and the splash art. I like the multiple design options you chose while sticking with the dark gray / golden-orange color scheme.

As a side note, perhaps reuse the ability effects for an Arclight Syndra skin?

By far the best Skin Concept work I've seen yet. So much detail and work has been put into creating this, it's incredible. Love the way you present the skin as well!

That is a beautiful skin. Would be similar with Arclight Syndra.

I really like this dude, but i might suggest making her a vibrant blue (think the color pallete of jayce's q), since we already have a golden syndra skin and have seen the color being hard to see her orbs for many.

I think the blue would show the raw power in concept while maintaining the ethereal tone of the skin

Very cool design, but I absolutely love the splas art and the thumbnail exploration you did on this! I need to learn to do this!
