Thoughts about a concept? Champion idea and new mechanics(???)

I thought for a while about what Id like to see in League of Legends as a mechanic or as a full fledged champion and I came up with something along the lines of what Id like to present. I wont drag on with the story of my though process but Ill skip to the chase. The concept I`d like to present to you is the concept of ... (Everything I mention below can become subject to changes)

Gilgamesh / ... - The Right of Shurima / The Sun of Shurima / ...

Lore: (something along the lines of...) -A man living under the rule of Azir, unsatisfied with the life he has, a poor soul seeking his place in the world. Angry and in despair, he prayed that Azir falls and that someone more decent takes the throne. One day, as he was strolling through the sand of the desert he was sucked in by the sands and dragged into a secret chamber hidden beneath the sands for thousands of years. There he found a riches beyond any mans dream and a relic, golden bow of the legends - Bow of the Sun. It is said that whoever wields it is to be the Rightful ruler of Shurima. The man took up the bow an his new quest to overthrow Azir and become the new Emperor of Shurima. The legend of the bow soon gave him a lot of favor with the people. He was also able to raise a grand army with the riches and is now ready to face his destiny.

Skills: (Its a bit hard to explain in words so Ill provide sketches for each skill as soon as I can) -Passive: Treasures beyond dreams / Emperors treasury / ... -gain X extra gold per Y seconds, smaller bonus with every level -gain X extra gold per kill, smaller bonus with every level -gain X extra gold per minion kill, smaller bonus with every level -gain X extra gold per turret destroyed, smaller bonus with every level -gain X extra gold when killing epic monsters, smaller bonus with every level -could provide some extra starting gold

-Q: Arrow of the Sun (takes X gold to cast) -Gilgamesh slowly draws his bow and readies to fire his arrow. The longer he draws the bow, further the range (like with Varus Q). There are 3 set limiters. After channeling long enough, and the range surpasses the limits of the skill, the skill gains extra effect. For example (skill start)---------------------------------DMG(limiter)---------------------------------DMG+BLEED(limiter)---------------------------------DMG+BLEED+SLOW(end range)

-W: The Dash for the Sun /... (free to cast) -Gilgamesh runs towards the cursor. If he reaches the terrain, he will climb it, and then make a back flip to jump down off of it or, he can use the terrain the run towards or from the opponent, and can jump forward to increase the range of his wall run. While climbing or running on the terrain, Gilgamesh can not be targeted by skills or auto attacks.

-E: Burn them! /... (takes X gold to cast) -Gilgamesh fires a burning arrow that damages someone or something if it lands on someone or something (hit box similar to Jarvan IV E, deals damage to structures as well). After X seconds, fire arrows come raining down from the sky dealing damage to everything and anyone it hits (includes structures) and slows down units it hits (hit box similar to Varus E).

-R: The light of legends /... (takes X gold to cast) -Gilgamesh starts channeling for a while, preparing his bow for a great shot, aiming at the sky. After the channel, he fires his arrow that slits into 5 rays of light as it flies towards the sky, 4 rays smaller and one big in the middle, growing. After X seconds, 4 smaller rays rays of light come down to the grounds, split up (at the range of Pantheons R when hes coming down) and create and area which can`t be exited except by flashing. After a short moment, the final ray starts falling and forms into a shape of a giant arrow that deals up to X damage, dealing the most damage in the center and dealing the damage there 1st. After, it sends off a wave that goes until it hits the end of the range defined by the 4 fallen rays of light from before, dealing less damage as it reaches the end of the range. The wave can be dodged. After reaching the end of the range, the wave and the area box created by the 4 rays of light nullify each other and brake. (the range for shooting the 5 rays is around as big as Pantheons R range)

I also have some skills in mind which could replace some of the skills I mentioned above but this is the idea that originally came to my mind, it can all be changed in the process. If anyone has any ideas how to improve the concept may also suggest them.

Great Late game Torture of an Early Game Lose Gold Early Game, you need to be really good at CS to survive Late game after you buy everything You basically can just fire forever.

The idea is to be strategic about your spending and focus on micro-managing the gold you gain. The gold gained from passive can drop as the game drags on, like Threshes passive gain in armor and AP drops the more souls he has. That would limit the overpower possibility in the late game. Also, gaining more gold at first or starting with some extra gold at the start would allow him to play out with a smaller starting handicap. Thanks for pointing it out, it slipped my mind at first to be honest :) Edit: I edited the text and added what I suggested here up above.

Yeah I really like the concept though, he looks like Varus mixed with Azir :D The Gold as mana concept is really interesting, would be great for people who sit back and farm all game due to the extra gold letting you buy items faster, yet at the expense of using your abilities much. Spammers could never play him XD

I wonder how it would play out now that Shurima is back?

Plus I'd say the Concept is a solid 9.5/1 I'd say his key items would be anything that can slow, to make sure they take some damage in the circle.

Thanks :D I wish I was better at digital art though, I imagined him with far more details that should make him look as someone equal to Azir in his glory :D Maybe Ill put up a traditional drawing thats closer to the way I imagined him when I have to do one. Im glad you like the concept though ^-^ . Yea, I think slowing items could benefit him greatly to secure his chance to auto attack the enemy as much as he can and keep them in his range so he doesnt have to waste his gold on spamming skills from the full range which, although would be quite a damage dealing tool would greatly effect his item build if he`s not careful enough. Plus, what you already mentioned.
