A Champion that centers around Gold

I was playing a match (And we were getting rekt so badly T_T) and a thought crossed my mind... What if there was a Champ that could actually steal Gold from his/her opponents and have gold based abilities... And yes, the idea of a Champ having an ability or passive that steals another players hard earned Gold is terrifying but hear me out.

I think the kind of personality that would best suit this champ's abilities would be a Greedy Bandit or a Gold-Obsessed Marauder (Can't be a pirate because Gangplank)

He/she would be a melee bruiser (being ranged would be a little unfair due to the passive)

His/her Passive, Let's call it 'Plunder', would steal a small amount of gold from enemy champs with every basic attack (this effect would have a cooldown on individual enemy champs of course or you could just drain your enemy laner dry of all his/her gold and he/she would ragequit XD) but if he/she kills a minion or a monster he/she would get a small amount of bonus gold. You will build up charges based on how much bonus gold you have earned/stolen using this passive and yes these charges will have a cap that increases with level.

His/her Q would be a medium ranged skill shot that deals moderate base damage to minions and monsters but if the skillshot hits an enemy Champ it will do bonus damage based on how much gold you have more than the champ hit but if you have less gold than the champ hit is slowed and takes minor burn damage. This skill shot can hit multiple units.

His/her W would increase his/her attack speed based on the value of the most expensive item in his/her inventory when activated also when attacking and enemy champ while this ability is active it will do bonus damage based on the value of the most expensive item in that champs inventory.

His/Her E has active and passive components. The passive will be a heal based on the gold gained from killing from minions, monsters and champs. The percentage heal will be different between Champs and Monsters/Minions

The Active component will be a shield of which the strength is determined from a percentage of how many charges 'Plunder' has gained and when the shield has depleted or expired it will deal damage in a small area around you, the damage is also based on how many charges 'Plunder' has gained.

For the Ultimate I actually have two ideas

  1. When this ability is activated it would affect enemy champs in a decent range around you, (like Amumu's R except having to do with gold) enemy champs whose items combined worth is more than yours will be stunned for 2 seconds but if your items combined worth is more than nearby enemy champs will have their Attack damage severely reduced and slowed by 15-45% for 1-3 seconds. This ability will do base damage and will do bonus damage to champs stunned based on the difference of net worth between you and the individual enemy champs.

  2. It is a targeted Ability that disables the unique passives of all the items in the targeted enemy champions inventory and slows them slighty for 2-3 seconds.

So what do you guys think of my Champion Idea... Is it freakishly and astoundingly genius or terrifyingly and mind-numbingly idiotic. [slayer-jinx-catface]

However... Nabbing the most expensive inventory items would be a surefire way to decrease AD for everyone on the enemy team.

This is pretty good idea actually think early game might cause some rage quit as every piece of gold matters so as you said consideration to have plunder at a moderate level as it would be easy to snowball. Could even have an ability to share gold with team? but definite possabilities with a gold oriented champ it be something completely new and would create great gameplay as the killing champs be the ones to suffer most! well done nice concept <3
