I think the best thing you could do for a special milestone like this would be the following:

  1. Make a nostalgic video showing the evolution of the game (maybe highlight all the major events through its life)
  2. Release a cool anniversary event with some cool skins or maybe some free skins. Also, let every skin be available for purchase.
  3. Allow players to revert back to old editions of champs for a week (so before rework Akali , Ryze etc)
  4. Unban every player that has been banned. I would only unban toxic players - lets leave the hackers banned.

I think 3 and 4 might attract a lot of old players who have dropped the game for one reason or another.

3 is never going to happen

Riot has already said this: They don't have the files of the old versions of the champs

3 and 4 would probably never happen because they're Riot... 2 sounds possible but with how Riot lost a ton of money from Blood Moon 2019, and how greedy they are for money in general; it's not happening. :c 1, however sounds like it'll happen.
