Grendel, the Bloody Medic [CHAMPION CONCEPT]

Hi everyone, While i was looking at the champions in the shop, i noticed that Noxus lacks a support. Sure, you could count morgana as one, but i was thinking more of a noxian citizien(and the game could use new supports anyway). The concept of a support for noxus may sound tricky, since in the lore the faction glorifies strength, and there are already tough guys with heavy CCs in the game, so my idea went into a slighlty passive healer (less passive than soraka), that could still bring some light cc and utility into the fray.

LORE

Grendel was born in noxus lowest classes, and was drafted in the noxian army when still a boy. It was soon clear that Grendel was physically weaker than his peers, therefore he was deployed as a light crossbowman where he would earn the distrust of the man-at-arms for his lack of "noxians" qualities.

After a particulary violent battle he was moved to the field hospital (which were more similar to a slaughterhouse), as adjutant to the medical officers. There, he discovered a natural talent into stich wounds, saw limbs off , sewn arteries or simply giving his patients the "noxian mercy", ending their sufferings.

Decades passed, and Grendel became the highest ranked medical officer of noxus, after saving many nobles and commander from otherwise mortal wounds, gaining their favours.

During the ionian occuption, Grendel was able to sent an agent into singed field workshop, but unable to fully understand the mad chemist notes, the agent seized only few incomplete formulas. With the little knowledge he had, he started to work into chemical/medical substances, with the hopes of creating it's own stable potion of madness, to finally obtain the strength he always coveted.

Rumors of his work came soon to the ears of vladimir, the crimson reaper, who, interested, offered to Grendel the chance to learn more about the nature of blood in exchange for sharing his stolen notes.

Grendel used his newly acquaired knowledge to create a new equipment fitting the nature of his resarches.

"I'll have the strength i need, and the price will be your blood."

KIT-ABILITIES

Passive: Red Harvest

Grendel gains passivly blood stacks from monster/minion killed and by champion wounded for X damage in the proximity. (up to 10 stacks)

For every blood stack, Grendel gain X-Y-Z health regen for second (at lvl 1-6-11).

Q: Syringe Dart

Grendel shoot a bolt in a straight line that sticks against the enemy champion if hit, damaging and inflicting Blood Loss. Blood loss decrease movment and attack speed by X%. Grendel gains X blood vials for Y seconds in which the bolt stuck to the enemy champion (scales with AD)

**W:First Aid **

Grendel practice basic medic care, healing an allied champion for X flat points+Y missing health.

Grendel can use 2 stacks to create a shield that last X seconds.Cannot be casted upon himself. (AP scaling)

E:Anticoagulant Toxin

Grendel throws a toxins vial in an area, damaging (DoT), slowing the movment speed and inflicting heavy wounds of 15/20/25/30/35% for X seconds. Grendel can use X stacks of blood to double all abilites effect.

R:Last Resource

Passive: Grendel gains 2/4/6 blood stacks any time he visit the fountain.

**Active: **Grendel improves a target allied champion metabolism, increasing his attack speed, movment, health regen and recieved heals. The ability lasts for 3/4/5 seconds and can be prolonged by consuming blood stacks. It can be deactivated to avoid blood consumption.

When the effect expires, the target suffers a debuff that slows movment speed and attack speed for 2/1.5/1 seconds.

PERSONALITY-TRAITS

After years of assisting the wounded, and seeing constant blood-shed, the bloody medic lost most of his empathy, leaving a cynical, cold, tired but still determinated veteran.

  1. He's envy of people with the strength he never had (like Darius Draven Garen Braum ).
  2. Hates assasins for their sneaky and backstabbing nature (Akali Evelynn Katarina Shaco Talon ) and manipulators that waste human lives for petty gains (Cassiopeia Leblanc Swain )
  3. Despise anyone that recieved powers and magic knowldge that he never had a chance to learn, since a lowborn (Annie Ezreal Lux Malzahar Ryze Syndra Veigar Ahri )
  4. He's saddened for the subvertion of the nature cycle of death and life of once fierce warriors (Sion Urgot ).
  5. He' sympathetic for common people and honorauble beliefs (JarvanIV Riven Fiora )

Grendel has a somewhat bloodbournesque aspect, mixed with reinforced parts and singular pieces of armor, like a shoulder strap on the left side, the same where his harpoon wrist gun is located, which is directly connected to the blood tank also kept on the left side, his regular weapon is a short personalised crossbow with a drum magazine. He's also supposed to bring various medical instruments, various bandoliers filled with flasks, bandages, syringes.

He's supposed to be in his mid 50' making him quite old with white hair that fall on his ears, add in a short bristly beard, and since his lore, he has no great physic.

I kinda want this guy to be a total D-bag as a healer XD it would fit his theme coming from Noxus.

Rename: Triage, Merchant of life / devils doctor / Combat Apothecary

Frist Aid kit(Passive): Triage always carries an emergency first aid kit with him, when left with 10% HP or less, if he is doesn't take damage for another 5 seconds, he will heal 20% of his MAX HP every second until full healed, cooldown 60 seconds.

Scalpel shot(Q): Fires a scalpel from his syringe gun, the projectile will pass through enemies, dealing damage and causing them to bleed DOT for 3 seconds (follows Darius hemorrhage mechanic)

CLEAR!(W): Traige charges up his defibrillator (melee/smite range) for 3 seconds, Triage can choose to target and ally or enemy to shock for different effects. If Triage target's an ally, they heal of 50% of their max hp and receive a movement speed and attack speed buff for 3 seconds. (allies above 50% health receive the balance as grey health, only for 3 seconds) If Triage target's an enemy champions, he shocks them for 2 seconds, they take damage and are stunned for 3 seconds.

Anesthetic shot(E):(Toggle on/off) Triage loads up anesthetic ammo into this syringe gun. (Toggle on) Enemies hit by Triage's basic attack receive 1 stack of "Anesthesia" and have their attack speed and movement speed slow by 10% After 5 stacks of Anesthesia, the target is put to sleep for 10 seconds, they are unable to cast spells, move or use items. Sleeping targets will regain 1% max HP per sec, and will wake up after receiving damage from any source. Awoken targets cannot be effected by "Anesthesia" for another 10 seconds. (kinda like old Ashe ability, where she slowed each shot, consumed mana per shot)

Adrenaline booster(R): Triage injects himself AND nearby Allied champions, improving their metabolism, increasing attack speed, movement speed, health regen and recieving a small HP boost. The ability lasts for 7 seconds.

BUT When the effect expires, they all are exhausted and have decreased attack speed, movement speed, health regen and take 10% hp damage. The ability lasts for 3 seconds. (Triage can heal himself with his passive and an ally if things get to dicey after the buff is gone)

Basically removed his blood stacks mechanic, feels weird having this blood lust doctor, Replaced his W to heal himself only in emergency situation. Gave more thematical properties to his Q and E, slow from Q moved to E and it;s not toggle. his W can target both allies and enemies for a heal or a stun, but close range.

Overall his kit now fits his theme and his R feels stronger overall. Kept a few things, what it does and effects after wards, just changed duration. resource changed to mana.
