I'm not a professional artist of anything, so have mercy on my mediocre art >.>

Soryn is a mage main, but also an off support. He specializes in protectice crowd control and Harassment, but is also rewarded with a little bit of healing.

Here is the older version of him I did: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=47422046#post47422046

Weak Against

Blitzcrank - Soryn has low mobility and has difficulty getting away from Blitz once he grabs him. Fizz - Fizz can escape the Weaver's eye with ease, mitigating Soryn's CC and damage. MasterYi - Soryn relies on slows a lot to protect himself. Without them, he's finished.

Strong Against

Braum - Soryn's key CC abilities ignore Braum's shield. Fiddlesticks - Soryn's ult directly counter's Fiddle's ult. Also, Soryn's silence is useful at interrupting his drain. Ryze - Soryn can do a lot to keep his distance, and heal off some of the poke from his engagements.

´¨•.¸¸.•´¨•.¸¸.•´¨•.¸¸.•´¨•.¸¸.•╰☆╮ LORE ╰☆╮•´¨•.¸¸.•´¨•.¸¸.•´¨•.¸¸.•´¨•.¸ ¸.• WARNING, VERY LONG LORE

When Soryn was born, his widowed mother, Eldawyn, devoted herself to teaching him an art form long held in their family, Weaving. That is not to say, weaving, like basket weaving, but weaving of the flesh and mind. It is an elite form of healing that utilizes the life energy in every living thing, by commanding it to heal injuries.

Eldawyn herself was among the most powerful Weavers in Demacia, even going to far as to create a guild of Weavers, fabled for saving countless lives, especially those of Demacian soldiers. She was also renowned for her sweet personality, constantly attending celebrations, making friends, and keeping a close, but gentle eye on Soryn’s progress.

Soryn embraced the art so well, that after reaching his 22nd birthday, the guild nicknamed him “The Guardian Angel”. In this position, he was able to befriend some of Demacia’s finest heroes such as Lux, Garen, and Jarvan. But this prime in Soryn’s life would not last long.

Noxian councilmen were furious after learning that an ever growing number of Demacian soldiers not only survived battle, but came back better than before thanks to Eldawyn’s guild. In a span of just a few short years, Eldawyn was assassinated by two mysterious figures in the night. And with this heartbreak, Demacia promptly hosted a large funeral in her honor, but a funeral would not heal Soryn’s hurt. So he ran.

He ran so far, not ready for the responsibility of the guild all to himself, that nobody could find him. His veins pulsated with denial, sadness, and then horror. Paranoid, he began to question, maybe if they went after his mother, he would be next. He was afterall, a prodegy. He came to rest in a mysterious wood, derailed by screaming in his mind, filled with am abominable twist of fear and despair. “My dear, what causes you such distress?” a mysterious and cool voice said before him. His head jolted up, momentarily silencing his agony. He looked around, and there she was…

Elise stood there, elegant and beautiful, and sat with him, comforting him. Soryn was unfamiliar with this woman, she was tall and stark, but elegant and hypnotic. Was she Demacian? Noxian? After many hours of conversation, Soryn felt soothed by the mysterious woman’s presence. She brought him to a eerie stone temple, where, over many months, she taught him the wonders of the Spider God, and how his power could bring him peace. She taught him dark witchcraft, which demented his weaving powers with black magic. Those who where sent out to search for Soryn on the day of his dissapearence, never found him under the temple’s shroud.

Elise came to him one day with wonderous news, she, and her most faithful followers would be making a pilgrimage to the Shadow Isles to see the Spider God himself. Naturally, Soryn agreed, his mind poisoned by the illusion that this god would be a wonderous and awe-inspiring entity, but Elise decieved him. While in the chamber of the Spider God, Elise ensnared him and all of the followers in enchanted, asphyxiating webs. And there they laid, motionless, and the “Spider God” picked them up one by one and devoured them, down a line, like livestock.

A flash of memories flooded Soryn’s mind, and he screamed out. Elise thought this to be a scream of terror, and ignored it, but it was not. It was pure rage. To Soryn, Elise was not good enough to claim his life, a snivelling witch that ensnared weaker people in to maintain her own youth. His former training as a Weaver flooded back to him, but his healing power was twisted by darkness. This new twisted form of Weaving came to him with a flash of light, bright enough to catch Elise’s attention. She turned, and with a shriek, Soryn grabbed her with his mind. Baffled, Elise began to understand, Soryn’s mind has been twisted to a point where he could now utilize his former healing and telekentic powers to dominate others in a terrifying display. He pushed elise, shattering her body against the rocky floor, and fired a bolt of light to burn the webs tangling him, and fled immediately. Leaving the Spider God and Elise to seeth with anger.

He returned to Demacia, leaving everyone absolutely dumbfounded. It’s been a whole year since his mother’s death and his dissappearence, they assumed he was assasinated shortly after her. News of his return spread like wildfire. People tried to reach him frantically, they wanted to know what happened, especially Lux, one of his dearest friends who’s heart shattered when he left. He said nothing, he quit the guild, and he stayed in his living quarters for most of his day. He became cold and distanced, as if he was just a shell.

After learning Elise had joined the League of Legends, he went to Lux, and without a word, handed her a journal, and enrolled in the league. His intentions for following Elise into the League are unknown, but Lux has recently revealed that the diary he gave her contains every detail about his time with Elise.

“I have lost one of my dearest friends, and Demacia has lost one of their greatest healers to that monster Elise.” - Lux
