I Got It I Know Who Will Get The Next Ultimate Skin in Top Lane

Well we all want to hope certain champions that we love in top lane will get the next ultimate skin in top lane. And so I thought long and hard who could get the top lane ultimate skin. Well to figure out who will get the skin first we have to answer the question on who wouldn't get it. Those that wouldn't get the skin would be champions that have gotten complete reworks, who ever gotten 1820 skins, and have been newly added to the game in the past 2 or 3 years.

Now the champions who got reworks in the past 2 to 3 years like: Ryze Ryze , Shen Shen , Yorick Yorick , Poppy Poppy , and even Gangplank Gangplank . Would not get a ultimate skin because of these major reworks that gave the champions new voiceovers, visual models and updated abilities. So for those reason I know they wont get the next top lane ultimate skin. But I hope to see a yorick 1350 skin this year coming soon.

Then you have the champions who currently have 1820 RP skins or also known as Legendary skins. These champions would be: Rumble Rumble , tryndamere Tryndamere , Darius Darius , Nasus Nasus , Teemo Teemo , Sion Sion , Kayle Kayle , Olaf Olaf , Dr. Mundo DrMundo , and I'm sure I am forgetting someone but lets leave it like that. In the end, the 4 current champions with Ultimate skins do not have a Legendary skin at all.

At the very end you have the newly added champions that have been in the past 2 or 3 years. These champions would be: Illaoi Illaoi , Ekko Ekko , Gnar Gnar , Kled Kled , and Camille Camille . Have all been recently added in the past 3 years for top lane so I would have to say they are not old enough to get a Ultimate skin. But I will admit the fact that Jinx Jinx was released 4 years ago in 2013 and now she has a Legendary skin so this bit of fact could not be a factor to Gnar since he was released the season after jinx was.

Also the champion would have to have the capability to give nice ability animations. So I think to myself champions like Singed Singed , Garen Garen , Trundle Trundle , and Maokai Maokai. These champions may not suit the role.

So now with these champions added I am left with a few champions in the top lane. This champion to get the ultimate skin must be pretty currently popular and been a fan favorite for some time over the years. Right? So I think who could it be? And then it hits me! With the release of Camille Camille and the rework of warwick Warwick could have some connections to Zaun or Piltover. Then what if this top lane champion destined to gain a Ultimate skin is from these cities? But in the end I have to admit Singed Singed or Heimdinger Heimerdinger who are both champions from these 2 cities, I just cant imagine them being popular to get a ultimate skin. But then I think well, Ultimate skins are about transformation as you level up into different forms. And what top lane champion that doesn't have a legendary skin, that has been in the game longer than 3 years, hasn't had a full rework since release, has very nice visual ability animations, and is very popular every elo and often seen in LCS games. And oh yeah since ultimate skins are about transforming why not give a Ultimate skin to a champ who literally has a ultimate ability called "Transform". It had to be him right. In my way of seeing it the next champion to get a ultimate skin is going to be our own Defender of Tomorrow himself, Jayce Jayce.

Mind you I could be a little biased because of this since I one tricked mained him at the start of my time in League but it makes sense right. All the things Riot have been doing with the Zaun and Piltover stories at the beginning of Season 7. Jayce is very popular and with the fact he can transform from melee to ranged form could give him 2 or even more constant forms to change into. Riot could make Jayce have his melee and ranged form with a completely different visual and voice designs. I wont lie a lot of us would think since Lux just got what 9 forms with her ultimate skin how could 2 make a difference well I cant say there but he would give the constant transforming in game like Udyr has with his stances.

Telling u guys Jayce Jayce is gonna get the next ultimate skin. I'm sure of it. Well and if you don't believe well Jayce said it best himself, "This is what the future looks like."

He needs more nerfs before he gets the ultimate skin. Just like how Riot constantly nerfed Kassadin, and then gives him a Texture Update as compensation.

Do we really have enough information to make that call? 4 out of 135 champions isn't really much information to make the call on.

I think you actually looked at the reworked pattern backwards. I suspect Riot doesn't care about if a champion had a rework so much as they care about the champion being in a good condition with a kit that will stand the test of time. From that point of view, successful reworks should be in the running for Ultimate Skins as much as any other champion.

I wouldn't think an 1820 skin would prevent a champion a champion from getting an Ultimate Skin any more than an Ultimate Skin would prevent a champion from getting an 1820 skin.

As for the release date, Ezreal got his Ultimate skin about 2 years after his release, so if you use that to go on anyone released before Bard is eligible (~120 champions).

However, if you look at the most recent champion to be released getting an Ultimate Skin, you're looking at a much smaller range. Lux released in Oct 2010, being the "newest" champion to get an Ultimate Skin, with all of them being released in either 2009 or 2010. Jayce didn't release until 2012, with 37 champions released between him and Lux to pick from.

If you're looking at kits that can stand the test of time, relatively old champions with established character, not likely to be reworked/updated any time soon, and champions played Top Lane, you're looking at Malphite Nasus Shen Garen Trundle Renekton Maokai Rumble MonkeyKing Riven . Jayce just strikes me as way too new and too likely to be changed to be considered.

As with previous skins they are either for a 2009 or 2010 champion, and they don't already have Legendary skins.

I'd love to say Yorick could get one but that would kill everyone inside just a bit considering he hasn't had a skin since release and that was 5 years ago xD But nah he's a 2011 champion so I don't see him in the running myself. As for a 1350, I dunno if they wanna jump on that right away for him. Even a 975 would be nice since he hasn't seen anything in years. 1350 would mean they'd have to have been putting quite a bit of work into that as well.

I say maybe they'll go for Mundo, Jax, Garen... something like that. Even if its a champion that is in desperate need of a VGU they might still do it.
