(REWORK CONCEPT) HEIMERDINGER

**Hi there, Before we start I would like to clarify that I have played Heimerdinger since Season 3 and I'm a hardstuck Diamonds smurf, playing over 2K games with him ** I always thought Heimerdinger was the best and most fun champion in LoL I've played every version/rework of him and something just kept bugging me. As the lore about Heimer clearly let's you know.

"A brilliant yet eccentric yordle scientist, Professor Cecil B. Heimerdinger is one of the most innovative and esteemed inventors Piltover has ever known">

You'd expect a little more from the biggest brain in Piltover and maybe even the world. I just thought that the devs are restricting this smart boi to use his knowledge a little more. As we know, Some champions have these custom skills for example: Kha'Zix who's able to evolve a certain skill into something that would benefit him during the game. What if we had the same thing with heimer. Changing his skills during the game to make full use of his knowledge.

I spoke with some other Heimerdinger mains and they all thought that the idea I presented them are pretty cool and wished that it would become a reality.

**Here is my Concept/Idea for Heimerdinger: ** His Q, W & E can be changed 2 times per game (at lvl 3 and 5) and his R has a one time upgrade (lvl 2).

Q-1 - His turret attacks do splash damage in a small radius. Think about Tristana's splash damage when she last hits a minion. Q-2 - The turrets slow enemy champions down. And it stacks. at it's final stack the enemy champ loses movespeed and Attack Speed Q-3 - Just like Ravenous Hunter heimer heals from it's turrets. Now when the turrets do dmg. a percentage of the dmg dealt heals the minions in the turrets range.

W-1 - When activating his W (point & click) heimer rapidly shoots his rockets that proceed to follow the selected enemy. The rockets dissapear once it get's too far away from heimer. (Think about yuumi's Q when she's attached to someone)

W-2 - This version of his rockets could really cool, When using your W. Your rockets spiral around you (just like Mundo's W) making it a perfect ability to counter enemy ganks. The rockets spin radius depends on how far you place it (Just like a Diana Q that keeps spinning)

W-3 - This ability speaks for itself. Just like Fiddle his rockets will Ricochet up to 3 times. Dealing less damage per hit.

E-1 - When using this E enemies hit dead center will electrocute nearby enemies in a small radius. Slowing them for 1 second once hit. E-2 - Throwing this E will follow up with a small explosion dealing aoe dmg E-3 - Heimer would be able to throw 3 grenades this time but they only slow the enemy. and it would work just like heimers W but just with 3 projectiles.

Once Heimer uses his R all his abilites that were upgrades will still use it's current upgrade but just a enhanced version. Example: When using his W-2 it would shoot out tons of rockets really fast around you.

R-1 - The ultimate version of Q, W & E leave a trail behind that does Dmg per second. R-2 - Just like Rapid Fire Cannon instead of your auto attacks increasing it increases your ULT range. R-3 - And again this one speaks for itself. Ult abilities ricochets with enemies.

KEEP IN MIND, These are just some ideas that I would love to see in league. I just think that the character opens so many doors since he uses technology to his advantage. it would only make sense if the smartest person in Piltover would be able to use more than just 3 abilities :)

I mean its a neat idea, but in practice, it looks way too bloated and complicated (like a certain champion designer tends to do with his reworks and new releases) and would turn him into a "fun for me but not for thee champ", since you'd need to think every game super hard about what combos work well, what don't, what do i pick and not pick, what helps the team more ect. I personally enjoy how he is now because hes not that strong, but hes also not weak, the only reason why people have issues with him is because he is a cheese pick, or a 1 trick pony. If you can deal with his turrets early and his safe lane, he just doesn't do anything late, maybe the odd ult e here and there, but his damage will be minimal. Those are just my thoughts tho. Besides, i might not have played him back then, but i saw how garbage his old kit used to be, and i personally think current is MUCH more effective.

I'm a rarity in that I think old Heimer passive healing nearby turrets was one of the best things in the game. Sure, it was so slow that it was practically unnoticeable but the CONCEPT behind it was so cool and led me to believe that other things could slow games down even if it was miniscule in nature.

Then they power-creeped the hell out of the game to the point where it was blatantly obvious this game is no longer meant for those who don't enjoy everything being about who is the better glass cannon since practically everyone is nowadays.
