Have yet to see any other artist do this kind of artwork for PROJECT: Yi.

Love the PROJECT skin line, especially PROJECT: Yi. Saw the teaser during a lol esports broadcast, where it seemed that everything was glitching out, but was actually showing the next PROJECT skin. I was so hype. And when the skin came out, it was amazing; bought it instantly, border and all. Now, some artists did works on this skin, and I gotta say, there could be some improvements. Don't get me wrong, there are some really great ones out there; could call them perfect. But a few of them were done based off the 3D model provided by LoLKing(RIP). That model was a mess since it was a mash-up of regular PROJECT: Yi and when he's in Highlander. For those artworks based on that 3D model, best to do your research more thoroughly. The link posted is my own artwork of PROJECT: Yi in Highlander. There's only one other artist that I have seen draw PROJECT: Yi in Highlander form, but it was more a of sketch, and I don't know what he's doing now(hasn't posted in a while). I've tried searching for other artworks of PROJECT: Yi in Highlander, but have come up empty-handed. It makes me kinda sad that no one else has done this yet. Whether there's no motivation/interest to do so or working on something else, there should at least be an attempt to drawing PROJECT: Yi in Highlander. Why I created this artwork is because I am committed; not just to Master Yi in game, but also to his lore. There's so much League of Legends lore that I don't even know where to begin. And for PROJECT: Yi's lore, he's a cyborg that struggles to find his humanity in his mechanical body. His mind being manipulated by PROJECT; his memories unclear. Yet, when Master Yi goes into Highlander, his humanity is there. With each battle, Master Yi starts to regain his senses. Because it is in battle, that Master Yi can truly feel human. And that goes for all the other PROJECT skins as well. Each champion have gone through countless battles that have collectively defined who they are. All in all, I only wish that there would be a bit more artwork of PROJECT: Yi in Highlander.
