[Champion Concept] Amour, Embodiment of Love
Unfortunately, my concept as it is only has abilities, lacking both range and cooldown numbers, as well as lore, interactions, and art. Nonetheless, I'd like to know what y'all think of this champion - she employs many mechanisms unknown to League at this point, and has a playstyle that could really impact the game. She deals little damage alone (with the exception of certain circumstances and late-game Q's), but makes up for it with incredible utility. Her abilities all epitomize qualities of love (reciprocation, betrayal, bonding, and sacrifice), and so they were thematically designed - hopefully they mesh together as well as I envisioned!
Role: Support (Primary), Jungle (Secondary)
Abilities
-
Passive: Mutual Love Every 10/8/7/6/5 seconds, Amour becomes enamored. While enamored, Amour gains unique interactions with all champions, losing the buff following said interaction. • When Amour takes damage from an enemy champion(s), she deals the same amount to the initial attacker(s).This buff lasts for 1.5/1.25/1/1/1 second. • If Amour heals or shields a champion, she instantly gains a heal/shield for the same quantity (if Amour heals/shields multiple champions, she gains a heal/shield equal to the sum of heals/shields distributed). • If Amour is healed or shielded by a champion, she instantly grants that champion a heal/shield for the same quantity.

Q: Karma Sutra Passive: Vengeful Love If Amour is killed, the enemy champion(s) involved are marked with Amour's Animus. If Amour is executed, all enemy champions are marked with Amour's Animus. Once Amour revives, all champions with the mark are stunned and made visible for 1/1.5/2/2/2 seconds (and the mark removed). Active: Amour targets a heart-shaped region on the ground, summoning the rage pent up from her unreciprocated love, keeping enemies bound to their present position and victimizing them to her wrath. Enemies are snared for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds and dealt 0 magic damage (+100% of Amour’s missing health).
-
W: Lovers' Unity Amour targets an allied champion, infusing them with a love that has yet to be reciprocated. The target ally gains the buff Lovers’ Unity for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds, during which time Amour’s autoattacks grant her targets the same buff (with the exception of structures). Units with Lover’s Unity deal 0 damage to each other.
-
E: Passion's Infusion Amour pours her heart and soul into a target unit (excluding structures), garnering a different response depending on the target. • Non-champion unit: The unit becomes instantly entranced, following Amour’s commands freely until either they or Amour die. Amour controls all entranced units, moving them and using them to attack. If Amour does not issue commands, units do not move, but do attack nearby enemies (prioritizing champions). Maximum units: 2/4/6/8/10. • Allied champion: Amour heals the target champion for 70/100/130/170/210 (+0.5 AP) health, granting them a 35% movement speed in Amour’s direction for 3 seconds. • Enemy champion: Amour cripples her target with the full burden of her love, slowing them by 80% for 1/1/1/2/2 seconds and reducing their armor and magic resist by 40%.
-
R: Final Sacrifice Amour targets a dead allied champion, instantly killing herself and reviving the target in her place. If Amour is dead, she can target a living allied champion; if the allied champion would be killed in the next 5/8/11 seconds, Amour instantly kills them instead and revives herself in their place. Note that, in both cases, kill gold and credit is rewarded to the ally and Amour, respectively.
Change Log
- 1/21/2015: Passive: Changed the ability so that incoming damage is not reflected, but recicprocated (both Amour and the enemy take damage). Also changed the duration of this damage-reflecting passive element to last for shorter duration with increasing rank, retaining the power of the passive but making it less devastating in team fights. Also changed the cooldown on the passive from 10/9/8/6/4 to 10/8/7/6/5. Q: Changed the passive (Vengeful Love) entirely. Now I think it's a little more appropriate and balanced. Also fits her kit much better (especially with her ultimate) R: Can no longer kill an ally; ability revised so that the ally must die for Amour to switch places.
