Balanced idea's to make Sion more viable

As you all know Sion'sSion update made him look very impressive but his kit is a major disappointment. You often will miss your ultimate and even if you do it does penny's worth of damage and second of all when SionSion dies its very easy to get away from him if you have any cc or dash I really feel this takes away from the unstoppable juggernaut feel riot tried to give him.

Now here my ideas to lessen these disadvantages without making him over powered. 1st. of all SionSion cannot go below 1 hp while using his ultimate, this further add's on to the unstoppable aspect of him but this doesn't mean you should always ult in no matter what hp you have because you will die pretty much immediately after the ult ends. :)

2nd. of all when you use soul furnace during your ult it will increase the size of the red energy (aka hit box) of the ultimate making it harder to navigate but allowing you to hit more enemy's in exchange.

My 3rd. idea is to allow players to charge up decimating smash while ulting (at the cost of speed until 1.75 seconds when he gets the AD increase) to increase the damage. To balance this decimating smash will charge at the same rate unstoppable onslaught does hence the longer you charge hence encouraging players to ult farther away so it does more damage. I personally thought seeing SionSion with his Battleaxe raised to his side bashing it into the enemy team would be quite frightening. The major downside of this would be that you cannot use your q directly afterwards to get a second stun off.

Next on to glory in death my three ideas for this are recommended separately because if they were all added in his passive would be OP. 1.)Sion'sSion passive works like Soraka'sSoraka passive but instead he charges faster towards enemy's faster and it is 2 seconds long. 2.)Sion'sSion death surge is extended by 0.5 seconds every time you hit an enemy. 3.)SionSion is immune to cc when he uses death surge and death surge is 2 seconds long.

(Audio idea's) My question is why is there a metal groaning noise when he ult's that everyone hear's? I don't have anything against the noise but I would think having Sion'sSion scream heard by everyone a lot scarier. Lastly something I am less sure of but I think should be thought about is should everyone in-game hear SionSion stomping get louder or quieter depending on how close he is to you. The stomping could just be heard globally (or not at all) but I think having the stomping as a mechanic would help the enemy team know where he is going (because stealth isn't Sion'sSion element) would add to the fear of his ult and on the down side give the enemy's time to get ready.

These are the idea's for SionSion that I think would really give him some more life and give some fun new mechanics and choices for ulting, I hope you agree. Please let me know what you think if its OP or there is something else that could be added. This is the largest thing for a game that I have written in a while.

I think of the ult as less of a "metal groaning noise" and more of gong or a drum.

Well the thing is, if sion can q+w while ulting, that is kinda unnecessary... well what I mean if you Q while ulting the stun probably won't stack together but instead merge, so it would be like a 2 sec stun rather than the 4 sec stun sion's combo right now offers plus if you can q and it slows you down . his ult would be dodged 95% of the time unless you do it point blank. the w that makes the hit box bigger but restricts move movement is a super NERF if you ult from far away, it instead encourages players to ult point blank reducing the effectiveness and making sion rather unenjoyable to play.

another thing is that his q activates during full charge, what i mean is it is a ability with a rather short charge time and will go off during your ult before you even hit anyone. unless you mean he can hold the q until his ult stops. also it's kinda awkward sprinting with an ax over your head if you ever try. look the ideas are great in your head but if you think a little bit harder you are basiclly making sion look op on paper but instead nerfing him so much... :(

but the glory in death on-hit time extension is weird, so he gets a flat 1.75 attack speed (so as long as he attacks he will get 1.5+ -ish second extension per second of attacking? soooooooo he technically could buy a frozen mallet and he be the best chaser in the game when he dies? ) but it seems like sion's movement speed boost could and will extendto entirety, the speed boost begans with 50% so you are basiclly dragging the movement decay over a longer period of time? so instead of 1.5 seconds speed boost it is like 6 seconds speed boost? assuming that he gets hit with a few auto attacks and he has a few hp items. i mean i thought about it, the last few seconds would only have like 10%-2% speed boost so it doesn't change much

Oh, I love the idea of immune to cc during the glory of death and it walks hand in hand with the on-hit speed extension but that's OP AS FUQ, lets say you're cho'gath and you feasted sion, killing him, you have 15% hp left and you book it. sion comes back to life and sprints at you, you drop a rupture under him. NOPE! HE GETS YOU CAUSE HE IS IMMUNE TO CC. it makes it so annoying to play against him and it promotes a play style of ult in to a 1v3 or possibaly 1v5 and get a double and bring everyone on their team below 75% hp. it makes sion a revenge kill champ more annoying than karthus ulting with his passive... well maybe, idk, depends if the team wants to fight the sion after he died. from what i think, either have one or the other, immunity to CC or the speed boost. you can't have both

well ya, sion's kit could be upgraded in the sense that he gets base stats boosted or his abilities dmg boosted but this is kinda weird... i'm sorry if you get annoyed but i'm just giving you an honest review of what I think. basically sion would become a troll pick but only in the area of his ult. However, his laning phase wouldn't suffer and his team fight would suffer a little bit in sense he is a better team fighter while dead than alive. i mean now catching someone by him self will really be a pain as you wasting a lot of mana, time and dmg due to them having a easier time dodging.
