A New Ranked Division!

Obviously as we all know League of Legends is a huge MOBA game earning tons of new players everyday. Which personally i think is great, i love this game and I've been playing it since 2014 but... I think ranked play is suffering because of this. If you think about the skill level of players who hit level 30 and queue immediately for ranked they are bound to lose most of their placement matches and STILL place silver elo because of their fresh MMR rating. SO maybe riot implementing a new rank so that players that are new to rank don't place silver. I know we joke about wood division but would it honestly be such a bad thing? Especially with the majority of players being in bronze or silver i think it would even out the playing field a little bit.

Creating a new division wouldn't change the matchups though. Division is cosmetic. MMR is the only thing that matters. You could suggest lowering the entry MMR that accounts enter ranked at, but Riot already has it placed at the point that they feel causes the least disruption. Wherever they put that entry point, you would obviously expect games around that MMR to be the most turbulent and least predictable games. Because there will always be people showing up there with way more skill or way less skill than their blank ranked history suggests.
