Pith, The Hollow Yordle

Design: Pith is based on the mischief of the Fae. I designed his skills around causing trouble for enemies while being hard to get rid of.

Lore: Pith was a well-renowned trickster of the glade, but recognition had soon led to boredom. Waking one day and without another thought he melted through the veil and into this world. Pith now had at his disposal a world that knew little of the Fae or his tricks. Flittering through the trees, he was on the outskirts of a city and soon overcame a small animal. This goat walking on two legs was quite strange, but in some way similar to a creature that had once belonged to the Glade, a Yordle. Pith grinned, “time for a prank” and got to work conjuring the prefect cupcake on the beaten path. The Yordle stopped and slowly looked around, paused and then smiling reached for the cupcake. As he brought it to his mouth Pith snickered as the cupcake became a swarm of bees. The Yordle goat gasped and flailed his arms around in fear as he fell to the ground. Pith dismissed the bees with a wave, this new world was christened. Glancing toward the figure it was still upon the ground where it had fallen. He sighed “misery is a cruel trick”, and with that the Yordle sat up “gottcha”. From that day on Pith took on the appearance of the Yordle in homage of the first to trick the trickster. He would seek more in this world to play tricks on, but never a Yordle.

**Visual: ** Pith has the appearance of a goat Yordle with cloven feet, sporting a black fohawk with two small golden horns protruding from his forehead. He has a purple diamond tattoo between his horns and has animal fur for pants. He wears a smirk on his face. When Pith emerges from his disguise his Fae body looks like a golem made from soot with a purple diamond on his forehead. He’s not quite within reality and pops in and out of focus.

Main: Support
Secondary: Mage/Tank Health: Level 1 (545 (+65)) Level 18 (1650) Health Regen: Level 1 (6.4 (+0.8)) Level 18 (20) Mana: Level 1 (350 (+55)) Level 18 (1285) Mana Regen: Level 1 (6 (+0.8)) Level 18 (19.6) Ranged: 500 Attack Damage: Level 1 (56.6 (+3.2)) Level 18 (111) Attack speed: Level 1 (0.625 (+2.5%) Level 18 (42.5%) Armor: Level 1 (22 (+4)) Level 18 (90) Magic Resist: Level 1 (30) Level 18 (30) Movement speed: 325

Roles: His main role is support because he has many different tools to defend allies and lock down targets, but he could go mid if desired. Pith has the ability to duel well against multiple targets early/mid game and not die, which many supports lack if they get caught out. As a support he could follow the item 3302 path and get item 2049 which would grant him the much needed health while increasing the benefits from Lurking Shadow’s Passive. He doesn’t get a lot of damage from building AP and instead should build utility items to help his teammates.

Abilities: Innate- Waking Dream Pith’s abilities apply a stack of Waking Dream that slows target by 7% for 3/4/5 seconds. Pith gains movement speed equal to what enemy champions have lost (max 75% from all sources). Slow stacks in intensity, duration independent for each enemy champion.

(Q) Scapegoat- Range: self
Cost: 45/50/55/60/65 Mana
Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 Active: Pith commands a clone to run forward for 3 seconds while he gains stealth. Pith heals for 15/25/35/45/55 (+5% pith missing health) every second. Clone vanishes like leaves in the wind.

(W) Sweet Mistake- Range: 800
Cost: 55/60/65/70/75 Mana
Cooldown: 12/10/8/6/4 Active: Pith conjures a cupcake at target location that deals 65/85/105/125/145 (+40% AP) magic damage within 200 units. The cupcake vanishes after 0.5 seconds dealing 65/85/105/125/145 (+40% AP) magic damage to enemies within 200-units and blinding them for 1.25 seconds.

(E) Goad- Range: 900
Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Mana
Cooldown: 8 Active: Pith throws a handful of leaves that explodes on hitting an enemy dealing (85/125/165/205/245 (+50% AP) magic damage to the surrounding area. If it hits Pith can cast Goad again within 3 seconds to shield target ally for 65/110/155/200/245 (+5% of Pith’s current health) lasting 3 seconds.

(R) Lurking Shadow- Range: 800
Cost: 100 Mana
Cooldown: 90/80/70 Passive: Pith gains 15(+2.5/4/5.5% Pith’s missing health) as armor and magic resist. Active: Pith sheds his yordle disguise applying Waking Dream to nearby enemies, fearing them for 0.25 (+.25 per stack) seconds.

Thoughts: (Innate)** Waking Dream**: Pros: ~Allows Pith to build a slow on an enemy with his abilities that can be used to help allies and himself escape, or keep in range of attacking. Cons: ~Abilities can be dodged which leaves Pith with his low movement speed

(Q) Scapegoat: Pros: ~ Strong heal at low health ~ The clone can be used to lead enemies in the wrong direction or trick enemies into wasting skills on it. ~ It counts as a champion. ~ Can draw turret agro if cast before Pith enters turret range. Cons: ~ Longer cool down
~ Health gain is tied to staying in stealth

(W) Sweet Mistake: Pros: ~ High base damage ~ Low mana cost ~ Can stop agression Cons: ~ Blind is tied to delayed portion of the skill ~ Low scaling

(E) Goad: Pros: ~ Poke and anti-retaliation in one package ~ Good base damage Cons: ~ Must be cast in advance to stop burst from unseen threats ~ Low scaling

(R) Lurking Shadow: Pros: ~ Great disengage tool ~ Locks down enemies ~ Pith can use fear to allow allies to either escape, reposition, or attack. ~ Lurking Shadow’s passive on the other hand helps Pith become sturdier the more damage he takes, allowing him to become a deceptively strong tank in conjunction with Scapegoat. Cons: ~ Dependant on how well you use your passive ~ No damage

Quotes: “The eyes never lie” “What do I look like, a Yordle?”

Against Yordles: “A trick a day keeps the Yordles a way”

LuLu: *“Chaos follows you, and those squirrels” *

Veigar: “Yordle. Now there’s a short joke”

**New Years Resolutions: ** ~ Stop blaming myself for giving bad directions. ~ Ask Caitlin for her cupcake recipe. ~ Experiment on a more effective fear, possibly involving invisible exploding cupcakes. ~ Get my Yordle disguise dry-cleaned.

Nice, I like this one. I had one thought—visually, the W should turn into a swarm of bees when it explodes!
