I've recently been hearing from friends and fellow gamers within the League of Legends community that they are being banned for absurd reasons such as defending themselves in chat when being harassed by either their own team or the enemy team. If someone is verbally attacking you and you decide that enough is enough, you should not be punished for standing up for yourself (or others for that matter) against @$$holes. More over the bans for saying even the most basic of swear word and being reported for silly spats with other players is genuinely making the game unattractive to a large percentage of players/former players (the ones that left because they were banned over circumstances regarding chat infractions). I've been thinking on this a great deal and have come up with a (hopefully simple) fix to the issue and hope that it is something that a person of authority within RIOT's staff base takes seriously into account.

Some of your players are not PC. Some of them are competitive shit talkers with bad attitudes and rude mannerisms. These people exist whether or not you appreciate them. At the end of the day, I can consider myself one of them. I have worked in kitchens and warehouses and on fishing boats in Alaska and as a result, I'm constantly surrounded by shit talkers. After a while it becomes less of a negative mindset and more a basic form of communication. As a chef 90% of what you hear in a kitchen contains phrases along the lines of "What the fuck is this bullshit? What fucking dick bag thought this was a good idea? Do you not have a fucking brain... because nobody with a fucking brain would do what you just did you dumb mother fucker." It's never meant as a hostile insult although it appears to be insanely rude. This is legitimately basic conversation for a lot of people that are in similar atmospheres. So this is what I propose...

RIOT STAFF AND ANYONE OF IMPORTANCE PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE CRITICALLY AND THINK OF IT'S ABSOLUTE FIX TO THE ISSUE AT HAND!

A separate 'mode' or 'server' designated for the competitive shit talkers in which the messages that we type cannot disqualify us from enjoying the game to it's fullest.

League of Legends presents - The League of Degenerates. Want to shit talk the enemy team for sucking? Have at it. Want to tell someone that's acting like a prick to fuck themselves with a 12 inch black dildo from spencer's gifts? Tell them to get to pounding. Want to ask an e-girl if you can poop on her chest and watch her puke simultaneously? Absolutely uncalled for, and you should move back to Germany and seek counseling, but if that's what you need in your life then... fuck man I seriously recommend that counseling.

Seriously though you guys. Some people that are overly competitive and love to shit talk are being driven away by their inability to do so within the game. Why not make it so everyone can play the way that they want? As much as some people hate it, others thrive in it.

you are in a world wide community.. that is not filled with restaurant workers from alaska..

if you can not control your own behavior, it is not anyone elses fault but yours the ramifications that come from it.

it is very very easy to never type a single time during a game. as it takes effort to do so..these are people you will never ever meet or probably even see again in game.. why care what they think or say?

The idea is creative, but I'm skeptical that Riot would be willing to create a separate queue for this because they've traditionally been rather against the idea of splitting the playerbase into more queues than what we currently have.

Not a bad idea to look into ways to fix that issue though! I'd suggest just muting people though rather than feeling a "need" to respond to them and "stand up for yourself". We all agreed to the same Terms of Use when we made our accounts for better or worse.

Well, imagine if someone just feeds and you started to be toxic, and you get banned because you are being toxic to other players and judgers had never thought of what made you toxic

honestly there should be a game mode thats relaxed as blind but with the ban system of draft. Some place to actually have fun with the game try off meta or non meta without the hassle of dealing with the try hards.
