Hex - Piltover's Mirage
Hey guys, this is my first ever post to the forums. I am a part of a League community on Facebook, and I got struck by a new idea for a champion and thought that I would post it here. I realize that the coding may be difficult and some interactions will have to be thought out further, but I think this is a good place to start.
Hex – Piltover’s Mirage
Backstory: If you think Jinx is competitive, just wait until you meet her sister. While both Hex and Jinx made Piltover their playground, the sisters have been forcibly removed from many other city-states on Runeterra. While Jinx loves things that go boom, Hex has a keen mind for a different kind of fun. She learned under the best, brightest, and most dangerous alchemical minds of the modern era. She gained a degree of notoriety by contributing to Dr. Mundo and Singed’s research. However, books and papers are not nearly as fun as people. She discovered multiple concoctions that effect peoples state of mind. You usually can’t find Hex, but you can guarantee she will be around if a dancing plague or witch-hunt breaks out. If you see Piltover’s Mirage, make sure you lock your wells and thoroughly cook your food.
Passive: I Think You’re Crazy, when Hex does 15% of her targets current health within 3 seconds the enemy champion is debuffed for 2 seconds. The afflicted persons screen begins to glow pink and purple. There is a 60% chance that the victim will have a delusion, and a 40% chance that nothing will happen at all. Delusions can include a random enemy or allied champion appearing from the fog of war, and casting one randomized ability (at either Hex or the target), or an actual champion within 1000 range (Sona’s heal range) appearing to move away (allied) or towards (enemy). The delusions can attack and crowd control, but the crowd control (and damage over time) effects ends when I Think You’re Crazy expires. The delusions can intercept projectiles.
Only one champion can be affected at a time and after being applied this passive goes on cool down for 15 seconds, however if this passive is reset it can be stacked up to 3 times on one target.
Q] Catch! – Hex throws a pouch in a straight line dealing damage to the first enemy that it hits, if the target is a champion it resets and applies I Think You’re Crazy, dealing 75/115/155/195/235 (+75% of AP). Range 1050, speed 1500, and cool down 8/7/6/5/4. 40 Mana. NOTE: If the damage from this is greater than 15% of the targets current health, two stacks of I Think You’re Crazy will be applied. In damage terms, this is basically Kennen’s Q (same damage and scaling), but slower.
W] Welcome Delusion – area of effect (200 range) that lasts for 7 seconds and deals 1/2/3/4/5% (+1% per 100 AP) of max health per second. When an enemy takes damage from Welcome Delusion, Hex can reactivate the ability to call previously affected enemies to the center of the area of effect for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds. If the Welcome Delusion expires, the charm is broken. 10 second cool down. 90/100/110/120/130 mana. (Casts the same was as a smaller Soraka E or Malz W)
E] Haze – Passive: Hex dodges 10% of incoming basic attacks, and takes 15% reduced damage from spells. Active: Hex creates a shield for herself or an allied champion absorbing 80/110/140/170/200 (+50% of AP) for three seconds, 10 second cool down. When on cool down, Hex loses the passive effect of Haze. 70 mana. Range 925.
**R] Chaos **– Hex makes all enemy champions lose their minds within a 500 range circle around her, resetting I Think You’re Crazy and re-applying it to everyone hit, and increasing its duration to four seconds. This ability does 150/250/350 (+40% of AP). 100/90/80 second Cooldown. 100 mana. (Slightly bigger Illaoi ult)
Secret Interaction: Sibling Rivalry - every time that Jinx and Hex are played in the same game, the first sibling to score a kill receives 1 extra gold, and the other has 1 gold removed from their inventory.
