Easy chat system/Muting your self before the game feature -CONCEPT-
(Summary at bottom if you are not interested in reading!!) Background - Hi, my name is miles ( or Milosidic ) and I have problems typing things in chat that I regret doing after the fact. I am what they call "toxic". For a while now I have been trying to improve my attitude, but every game or so i relapse and yell at someone for doing something stupid or when i just do bad and yell at people for no reason. Yelling at people for no reason is what really troubles me. I don't have any enjoyment from being a "toxic" person and would love to be just a nice guy playing a game seriously without shaking salt on everyone's day. I have been playing since vel coz release and have climbed to platinum 4 over my time of play.
Concept - Adding a easy chat system+mute yourself before game feature would improve players attitudes when angry. Instead of going to chat and flaming after a fight, if you clicked mute yourself with easy chat feature before the game you wouldn't be able to flame, and still be able to communicate with the easy chat function. Quick chat (as know in other games) would be similar to easy chat, but easy chat would be more focused on reducing toxicity and less of quick messages ( you still would be able to click a keystroke and have the message you had binded to that key still pop up, and would still be able to use these messages quickly) . Easy chat would consist of positive/objective things to put in chat. The down side of this system would be lack of communication, but the pinging and easy chat would be enough communication to get through a game.
Summary You cannot talk in game if you turn easy chat system+mute yourself before a game Selection of positive messages/ Objective messages would improve players attitudes "Muting yourself" would reduce toxicity between players Not everyone has to do this. This system would be focused more for ranked/more serious play
