I know Victorious skins are earned by whether you are gold or higher and only 1 Victorious skin is released per year. I would like to see the rules slightly altered. I know Victorious skins are a reward for gold players or higher and I agree with this rule, but it would be nice if these players were allowed to choose which Victorious skin they want.

For example if a gold player didn't like this years Victorious Skin and wanted the Janna Victorious Skin they should have the option to choose because they earned it through hard work.

Going to poke in here real quick!

This is a super tricky topic - I see where you're coming from in terms of a player who hasn't been playing from season one and wanting an older Victorious Janna (I really want this skin, btw).

On the flip side, these skins are something that represent being Gold or higher in each season. Think of them as a trophy, if you will, for each season. In that sense, it may not be fair to someone who earned them each year to see someone in season six earning something from season one.

At this time, we consider these achievement skins for each season, and don't have plans to allow players to pick which Victorious skin they'd like at the end of the season if they're Gold +. They only skin awarded will be the Victorious skin for the current season (which we haven't decided upon just yet!)

Part of the skin line is to show how long you have been able to hold gold or higher, if i could hit gold for the first time this season and get the oldest victorious skin, how is that fair to the people who have been devoted since back then?

Definitely not. Part of the skin's value is "I was there at that time." If you weren't there, then you don't deserve it. Simple as that.

ive only been playing since season 5 and got silver but i do agree. despite me wishing i had victorious morgana or elise its just a reminder to work hard if i want a victorious skin in the future as there will be more im sure. giving new gold players older season reward skins definetely isnt fair

I have to bring this up again because I think it needs to be discussed further. Like I've seen in previous comments, allowing the player to choose whether or not they want the current or past victorious skin should be considered. I understand that it's a trophy, etc but players who have played from season 1 don't lose out on anything. By choosing a previous skin they forsake then new one for that season. I'd like the chance to earn VIctorious Janna or Morgana, I main support and Sivir, Elise or Maokai (as it has been rumoured) doesn't or wouldn't really feel like I've earned anything because I don't play those lanes. Just means I get a nice limited edition skin that I'll probably only use in aram.

I do not agree with this at all. I've been here since season 1 and I earned all victorious skins. I don't go for the "I was here" type of thing, but more so, "I earned gold+ and worked hard"

I highly doubt this will ever go through in the future, but if it does, I as well as other previous veterans who were here season 1 and 2 will be really mad. I say seasons 1 and 2 because j4 and janna are very rare

Dear Team Riot,

I just read this article and cannot quite agree with your points to be honest. Maybe that is because your approach and explanations are a bit too narrow-minded. Let us face the facts before ticking off arbitrarily a super tricky topic like this one:

The reality is that tons of accounts are traded for high amounts of money on the internet. (e.g. Victorious Janna for €199.00) That is because some skins are no longer available and players apparently have completely lost hope getting one of these in the future. The consequence is that Riot Games property (LoL-Accounts) are sold/traded even though the terms and conditions from Riot Games implicitly forbid that.

Nonetheless, these trades have become a highly lucrative business for a Norwegian guy and his associates. For those of you who do not know what I am talking about, his website can be found here:

According to Riot Games, account trading, selling etc. is strictly prohibited and leads to the immediate shutdown of the corresponding account.

Why dear beloved Riot Games do you tolerate account trading from lol webshops such as this instead of figuring out plans on how to make those LOST skins re-available to YOUR customers instead of letting other people do business with them?!

I simply cannot understand that. Do these people deserve the limited skins rather than YOUR supporters? Is that fair? T

Not only do the limited skins represent gold or higher achievements in a season but also illegal activities because you won't make them re-available. That is a bit of a heavier flipside like the one you mentioned down below.

Please Riot, reconsider your choices. This is a request for a reward system that makes limited skins re-available. They will still be limited because not everyone will achieve the goals/meet the requirements. Making skins unavailable forever is a bad plan in my humble opnion.

Most of the players who still got the limited skins will sell their accounts for high prices.

Is that what you want?!

I know I'd love the Victorious Janna skin myself, but I'm content with my Victorious Morgana for now (till I feel like climbing up to get another one I want)

as someone who plays janna a lot but didn't play ranked in season 3, i would love to have victorious janna. but i think it would be unfair to those players that earned victorious janna the right way.

but i do see what you mean. as much as i love the fact that i got a free skin from riot, i can't play sivir! i am awful at her. janna god, can't adc to save my life. oh well.
