whether you play around it or not it completely takes the fun out of a games when you are consistently targeted for no reason. they dont even give their laner a chance its just biased targeting. like op.gg exists why give them more inside information and on top of that its in ranked too. stop nerfing players riot. this is a horrible way to promote better play

There is absolutely nothing to stop me from going to ChampionMasteryLookup.com and looking up everything about you and the champions you play.
You could have 100,000 mastery points or 1,000,000 mastery points. People will still flame you.
You can have an Ultimate skin or no skin at all. People will still flame you.
it was hidden for a while but i dont think it really makes much of a difference? like if you're in ranked playing your main (as an OTP), they're going to know its your main from op.gg or something like that. your mastery not showing isnt going to stop you from getting camped in that case lol, especially depending on your role.
it does kind of suck for OTPs though, i agree. i dont really see the point in showing the masteries again when they cant even show you your enemies rank in loading screen.
i dont even play my main in ranked but shes only at like 286k so ill never know ur pain.
