Level 1-30 is why this game is dying.

So I decided to make a new account this season instead of buying a fresh 30 and am seriously regretting it. Not only can you not customize your runes or be at a flash disadvantage all the way till you unlock it, the xp gains are very lackluster. For a loss I get like 130 and a win is only like 210. Barely at lvl 13 it takes 1000xp to level up. Unless your are buying double boosts I feel like it's next to impossible to reach 30 without losing your mind. Which brings me to my next point that these are without a doubt the most toxic childish people I have ever played with. I don't think I met anyone that was actually new to the game down here and it's almost guaranteed to be a 4v5 in favor of one side every time. People troll lanes (taking ur role;leach xp), follow you around the jungle taking camps, and pretty much everything else you can think of.

I don't know what else to say I don't really feel like typing anymore, but the main reason for this is hopefully to call attention to previous lvl30 gameplay. If I was a new player I would have uninstalled this game at level 6. For a dying game you would think they actually try to make the game enjoyable for beginners. Like I just played a lot of games yesterday and today with no boosts out of curiosity of how long it would take and my God I went up like 5 levels in idk how many games but it was a decent amount.

All in all I just think there could be significant improvements in this stage of the game in order to coherse newer players into keep playing and make existing players not feel like they are making very little progress to get to the point they want to be which is to get in ranked. Ok. Rant over. I'm tilted if u can't tell.

You have like 5 or 6 free champions nearly given to you. Or like 10k+ blue essence.

You play lots of games to get to 30 which is to be expected because.... you are supposed to have some experience before you get to 30.

You being a smurf means you are playing with other smurfs. It will be painfully obvious you are a smurf because you will pretty much dominate the game no matter who you play.

You nees level 15 to fully customize runes, which tbh i think could be brought down to 10, but not really THAT big of a deal.... and btw, after a few hours i got my account to level 9.

Smurfs tend to be toxic yeah, people cant quite understand that people who they are playing with do not know what they are doing usually. They flame because they do not understand that not everyone knows what every champion does, and that they are less skilled simply because they do not have skills yet.

You probably see nothing but smurfs because legitimately new players will have a good deal lower mmr than you after just a few games.

Two things have always been true with the League of Legends leveling experience.

Most, if not nearly all, of the players are people who got banned from their real accounts for being toxic shitbags, and now they're building a new one and taking their rage out on you
Riot doesn't have any way to stop them from just making a new account so item 1 is going to keep happening regardless.

Ya idk I was pretty much just venting. Getting so frustrated of bot lane averaging a death per min for first 8 minutes lol. And my other account got banned cuz it was bought account; they actually got pretty decent at detecting them unfortunately and I was tired of my money basically going down the drain so here we are grinding haha
