New champion skins, Champions, refunds and more!
Darius - Princess Darius Skin
I believe League of Legends needs to explore more in the terms of gender and one of the ways to do that is to show how comfortable certain character's are in their own skin. Darius is perfect candidate because to me, he is a strong guy who knows who he is.
Now it'd be amazing to see him, running down the lane wearing a dress, preferably pink, and OWNING IT. I wanna see Darius taunting champions, saying he's the fairest of them all, that he's the prettiest. Hell I'd love him to taunt saying "Tell me I'm pretty, you know you want to" and when he kills a champion he says "You should have said I was pretty, you would have lived longer". Of course he wouldn't say this all the time, but things like that to show that Darius is the number one princess. Additionally before I forget I'd love to hear him say "Pink is a manly colour", because, well it is.
Nami - Tsu-Nami skin
This was a given, honestly I'm surprised it doesn't exist. Well as far as I know there is no Tsu-Nami skin. It's a simple concept and design could be anything. I just LOVE the name because it's perfect and fits with the champion. I don't mind whatever it looks like, I'd just love to see a skin with that name.
**Dr. Mundo - Dr. Pepper **(name may vary on spelling depending on copyright)
It's a general idea of Mundo throwing cans of soft drinks at people and his ring of fire be a ring of the soft drinks (obviously not in the can)
**Dr. Mundo - Dr.Who
**
I believe this doesn't need explaining, but one thing that could be done is while you can buy colour pack to change champ colours, what about one similar for this skin to show the various incarnations of the Doctor. This would pay homage to the show, make many people geek out and generally be fun.
**
LeBlanc - Harlequin skin**
Another skin that seemed obvious and I'm not sure if it's real or not but I'd like it to be ^^ A self explanatory skin.
**Transgender champion **
Back to the subject of gender, I believe it's time for a transgender champion. As a trans-male, representation is very hard to come across and because of that there are misconceptions. If there was a champion, not only does that give representation but it gives positive representation. To play as a champion that understands my struggles, that speaks positively telling me and others that we need to keep going and we'll make it to where we need to go, it'd be amazing. Aren't we the generation of progress? Well then, let's make progress! It'd be preferable for there to be two, one of each gender because equality.
Champions of Colour
Yes, I know there is a variety of champions of different races but there is still an extreme lack of Black champions. I scrolled down the roster and ignoring other species I could count on one hand how many champions of colour there were. This means there is under-representation and yes, while we have explored various species we still need to remember people of colour are equally important. Now I am not the best person to speak about this subject because I myself am white, meaning I have all of this representation and privilege, but I feel very strongly about this for the simple reason that again we are the generation of progression. My friend suggested a black champion who has dreadlocks as their weapon, which gave me the idea of one of their moves being where they headbang (perhaps this would be their ultimate and attack their enemies with powerful locks)
Champions with disabilities
I want to see a champion who has gone above and beyond to show they can still fight despite their disability. Now I'd also consider a cyborg achieving this, using technology to their advantage to in a way bring back what was lost. Just look at Cyborg from Teen Titans, he kicks ass and sure you can look at his robotic parts as enhancements, but a character in the League that has such parts would have them to over come physical disabilities. It's preferable the cyborg champion be them in standard, and not a skin like Pulsefire Ezreal.
Of course physical disabilities are one way but let's not forget mental. What about a champion who has a stutter, or one who struggles understanding things because they are autistic? Again this relates to me, since I myself am autistic but hey, that hasn't got in the way of me fighting tooth and nail with other champs in PVP. A champion who is apprehensive on engaging in combat would show that not everyone is geared for the fights like Vi or Darius. (Perhaps the line "Do I have to? Do I really have to?" could be one of theirs instead of standard taunts) Instead they could be a bit timid, hell it'd be funny to have them be surprised they survived an encounter or yelling stuff like run when in a fight. Of course the best line to say in a fight when your health is rapidly going down would be them saying "nonono" as many times as they can.
Female Champions
There are roughly 34 champions that are female out of 123, of course I don't trust my counting skills, hence why I used the word 'roughly'. I understand some champions aren't even human, however being voiced by a male still gives the player the inclination they are male. It'd be preferable if there were half champions female, but since it is a male dominated world and the PC master race is made up of mainly males it's understandable to gear to a male audience. However that being said, we still need more women.
Refunds.
Now I myself have done many stupid things in my lifetime, and one of the stupidest I have done is waste my refunds on the same champion cause I was juggling my Riot Points around. I've learned my lesson of course. I believe we should be given one refund a year, discounting the three we are given when we made our account. These refunds cannot be saved/stacked so if you don't use it in the year you received it, tough luck. One should be enough to make up for stupid errors of judgement, and to make sure there is no confusion the refund we get in the year will be titled something like "Refund (2016)", so when you make your account you start of with your standard three. When the next year rolls around then you get that years refund, and if you didn't spend your starting refunds, good for you because they are not affected.
Of course many people want more refunds, but they'd end up wasting them on stuff they didn't actually want or try cheating the system, buying a full priced item, getting a refund then buying it half price. So to stop this from happening, I think only ONE refund should be given. Of course perhaps even a way of punishment for players who actively grief the community have their refund taken away, or are unable to receive said refunds on their account.
