Well, Exile was already along those lines, so instead of stepping on it, they could replace it like they did with Crimson Akali-> Infernal Akali.

I always thought of Exiled Morgana as "I've just made my transformation into 'Fallen Angel'" Morgana. Like Exiled is what she looked like just as she made whatever decision she made to break apart from Kayle's society, so she still looks somewhat similar to Kayle, but her tattered wings indicate her "fallen" status. The "Exiled" here meaning the society (or Kayle, no idea what direction the new lore is going to go) exiled Morgana, so she's going to go off and eventually become the purple-y Morgana we know and love. That's how I always interpreted the skin anyways.

You're not wrong, but it's still Morgana as she was, uncorrupted, much like Arclight is. And the lore around the skin depends heavily on how she's going to be written with her VGU.

I hope not. Exiled should remain a canon skin like Capatain Fortune/Gankplank and Human Ryze. Making it an Arclight would mean it would become an alternate universe skin and I wouldn't want that.

I actually think Riot could do everything like this, and then add that whispy transparency effect for the lower part of her wings? They only use it for a few things but this would totally deserve it!

This is great. I love the colors (how did you make that grey accent look so good?). And the way you made consistent use of those golden arcs (no pun intended) throughout, not just on the wings.

I'm a little worried that some of the details wouldn't be visible in the actual game, where it would be much smaller. For instance, the crest on the bottom-front of her dress (especially the inside part) feels like it could be more impactful.

Velkoz Yorick and Varus got a arclight skin too and they are not "golden and shiny and white" <3
