I wanted to make a champion concept that did great in the jungle and did amazing killing other junglers, but had pitiful ganks in the early game, since junglers can carry games pretty well if they gank properly, i wanted him to be the opposite version of that.The trapper, idea was a jungler that invades the enemy jungle, traps the enemy jungler, and kills them. He loves the chase, but the catch is what makes everything worthwhile.
Passive - the trapper gains bonus effects for stealing enemy camps, wolf camp and raptor camp give 20% more gold. Red and blue buff have 20% increased effects, and taking both scuttle crabs give a shield when walking over the area.
Q - take the bait
Places a fake version of a camp, this camp explodes when hit, dealing magic damage in a cone toward the direction the camp was hit in, reactivating this ability will make the camp look like it’s chasing the trapper, although that too is part of the trap. The camp is tinted slightly different to make it possible to spot, and to make it fair.
W - rope trap
Places a trap in a wall, has a 3 part activation sequence, first a 2 second channel to build the trap, then you place the trap in a wall, then pick the angle it shoots at, cannot fire through the wall the trap is placed on. This trap can be set off at any time after being placed but multiple traps may not be placed. When the trap is manually set off it fires a wide line skillshot, dealing damage up front with a dot over time. Stunning enemies in the process. Holding the trap before you place it in a wall leaves you vulnerable to attacks, taking 10% more damage, no other abilities can be used with a trap in hand. but placing a trap for a gank is fully possible with speed and precision. The trap is revealed when enemies take damage from a Q. enemies hit by his q take 15% more damage from his w for 2 seconds.
E - they can’t hit you if they can’t see you
Slashes the enemies eyes. Making them short sighted for 1 second, behaves like an auto attack, applying on hit effects. +25 damage for every level put into this ability.
R - Put down
Puts his knives through the target enemy champions heart and carotid artery. Killing the champion instantly if below 30% hp, if this ability executes, the trapper gains 30% movement speed and enters stealth for 2 seconds. If this ability doesn’t kill, the enemy hit is also slowed for 80% for 2 seconds, executes with this ability are not announced and the only way to see the kill is to look on the score board
