I don't think its worth 975 rp. more like 720(like temple jax) the only difference between this and default is the really high pitched shing shing shing sounds and the animations behind those and the recall animation also art design is pretty neato. Defo doesn't justify it being 975 though. Suggest riot lowers it to 720 for other players to buy at a lower price.
Gixia1 votesHonestly, I'm surprised Kha'Zix's new skin is ONLY 975. Considering Kha is one of the poster children for 'my skins are incredibly costly, time-consuming, and difficult to make' due to all his evolutions. Keep in mind, Kha was the first champion to have a launch skin that was more than 975. I had pretty much assumed that he was destined to never get a skin that's cheaper than 1350 ever. Then taking into account that his new skin pretty much has all the features his Mecha skin had PLUS a new recall animation, and I'm genuinely surprised that it's not more than 975.
TenSlashTen1 votesit has less animations than the mecha one dude. It doesn't even come with an isolation sound for champions lol(if anything they should've added a VO line for the isolation since it doesnt have a sound)
Gixia1 votesHow does it have less animations than the mecha one? It doesn't have the 'beep boop' robot joke that Mecha had, but it still has the same joke animation. If anything, it has more because Mecha used the default recall animation and GotS uses a brand new one.
Are you perhaps getting animations and spell effects mixed up? Even then, I'm not actually sure GotS has less spell effects than Mecha does, as it actually has quite a lot of them, it's just that the GotS spell effects are a lot more subdued and less flashy.
TenSlashTen1 votesexactly, they somehow lost the "cool" factor from the mecha skin and just basically reskinned with a couple animations. Doesn't feel like a 975 I guess 975 means reskin and add a couple animations now a days.
if it was 720 i'd be like yeah totally a great deal cool reskin with some extra animations on recall/idle/abilities and even some sound effect change(though the sounds are really high pitched and hurt my ears lol its like skarner passive 2.0)
Gixia1 votes720 price point means no new spell effects, no new animations. The skin has new spell effects, regardless of whether they're over the top or not, and a new animation. Hence, 975.
