Riot, will chroma packs be allowed to change a champions skin color as well?

I would love if we could see more of a diversity in the cast by making some of the chroma packs alter a characters skin color. Maybe we could get some more ethnicities represented in game. And it would be nice to see some options for the currently darker skinned cast to see some lighter skin alternates as well. It would be a nice way to let us darker skinned people feel a little more represented without having to make explicitly ethnic based characters. i know I would buy a lot of champions if they had skins I could more easily identify with, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Thank you for reading my post.

I think it would probably be a PR nightmare if you could basically blackface a white champion or whitewash a black one.

Agreed. While I understand the what you're thinking of Token, SNK does this many times with their fighting games like King of Fighters, but it's not a good idea in general.

That and Japanese sensibilities aren't the same as American ones. It would be a bigger deal to an American company like Riot than it would be overseas.

If it was something as crass as blackface then I, as well as many others, would be rightfully upset. But If it was done with a little bit of effort, remember these packs cost 590 riot points, so they can certianly put a little effort into it, and not just pick a color and paintbucket over it with the new one it would be fine. As stated below there are other games that do this and I've never seen anyone have a word to say against it.

Yeah I guess I'd have to see how it looks first. It could work, but they'd need to dance around the ways it could go really wrong very carefully.

I wouldn't mind a black Jinx, though. That'd basically be one of my high school girlfriends (she was really hyper XD).

don't see how this would be a problem. Other than the varying degrees of black and white what would you change their skin color too? blue?

People think too much about this. some chroma packs should change skin color as well. And if people are feeling hesitant because they might feel racist then they are stupid.

Sure! Don't limit it to black and white by any means. You could have blue or purple or green or whatever looks good on a character. Like Fizz with his current chroma pack it can make a distinct and unique looking champion while still making them recognizable on sight.
