Create new elderwood skins and use part of the money collected to plant trees, this would be a noble initiative. It's not much but the planet will be happy.

With all the negative press going around of Riot's greed this would be an insanely smart PR move and help the planet. There is literally no downsides to doing this.
This would be a nice fundraiser to save our planet from global warming.
We can all contribute minimally to face a serious problem we have to face for the Planet of tomorrow.

instead of buying skins to collect money why dont you take part in suck organization, you could help by your self there is always manpower needed in these cases. Also if you have a backyard go plat a tree there to help the planet :). Don't expect others to solve the problems for you

as long as right-wing pro corporate governments exist in the world there will be no fixing climate change. I'd still support this initiative, but it is really only a matter of corporate virtue signaling. An international entity will have to hold the Brazilian government accountable if we ever want to stop the amazon from burning, and that's just step 1 to combating climate change at this point. Its set back after setback at this point. I guess the world really is gonna be cremated alongside david koch

Never been a fan of this "save the planet" stuff.
The planet is a rock. The planet does not care. The planet will continue to exist even when every living thing on it dies, and when it does eventually get destroyed by the sun, the atoms will still exist in some form or another.

Joking aside, I actually like this idea, but instead of just planting any trees, I would rather they plant public fruit trees in parks around the country. That way, they're also feeding the hungry children of future generations and producing more human happiness. It could be more complicated to organize an event like that though. They could just offer the funds to cities if they agree to use them to immediately use them for that purpose and to provide Riot a count of trees planted with the money and a picture of at least one newly planted fruit tree.
