Authentication, mobile app LoLSafe

I am pretty sure this has been brought up in the past, but I believe a small little program or application available to download and linked to your mobile/cellular/computer/etc device would be wonderful to have for authentication.

I used to play osrs (Old school Rune Scape) and they had a very simple number authenticator, which the app would send you a number every minute or so. It would change each minute the app is open etc.

When logging in with a different IP address or computer it would prompt you for an authentication code and you would quickly check your authenticator, type in the number and be well off to play there until you leave once again.

It wasnt too hard or out of the way, it was optional and not everyone was forced to have one. You could just activate the function by inquiring about it on the osrs site and linking/downloading the application.

If league had something similar, whether it be a little 2 dollar purchase or even a wonderful free one. The extra security would be very wonderful and appreciated. This way, accounts can be more secure and less issues regarding "hacked accounts" or even "Scam links" etc can be avoided.

Please consider making something like this, as I believe it would be a very nice thing to have as an option. It can also be turned on and off as well in your profile on the official leagueoflegends site. The authenticator would work both in game and on the forum. Everyone makes mistakes given the age of the people who may start playing league or even older players that would like the extra security if needed. I understand it is our responsibility to keep our own accounts secure and it is our fault if we end up losing our accounts due to giving away passwords. However the world is full of stupid people (Like me >~<) and I even admit to have falling for a trick or two in the past. (To be fair though, at the time I just got my wisdom teeth out and my medication had not worn off... I was really out of it ;w;)

But yeah TL;DR: Everyone makes mistakes, and an optional authenticator option to toggle an application on and off to send and receive codes (much like osrs) to help increase security and for logging in purposes would be amazing. (I personally would purchase a 2-3 dollar application to have such a safety net).
