dota 2 and league of legends are the same but still far apart and the biggest difference is the map creator that valve has given dota 2 and thier community allowing people to make some creative tower defences or rpgs from the game. and i think league sould add the option too.
wont ever happen. riot knows that quite a lot of people in the community have way more passion and care way more than riot does. it would come down to there being like 20 gamemodes all way better than ranked and ranked would die. maybe not "die" but numbers would drop drastically. as riot stated, thats also the reason urf isnt a perma gamemode. cause whenever its on, ranked numbers drop too hard.
Actually, I know it's the unpopular idea but...
Copy Overwatch and have a monthly gamemode ranked?
There could be like one week where different game modes can be played, the game mode with the most players could become an official rotating game mode.
