Please give Diana a PROJECT: Diana skin or a Blood Moon Diana skin!

**EDIT: For those of you who are saying, Champion X, Y, or Z hasn't received a skin in X years and deserves a skin way more than Diana, please know that I agree that there are plenty of champions who have also been neglected by Riot in terms of amount and quality of skins. I would really encourage you to speak out and hold Riot accountable. This thread is not to say that I don't think there are plenty of champions who deserve a new skin. However, please remember that this thread is about Diana, and I would like to keep discussion here primarily related to her. If your only point in posting here would be to bring up some other champion and attempt to belittle the Diana community simply for asking for an answer from Riot, then please reconsider posting here and instead make your own thread. **

Also, a few have told me that I may have been too harsh initially when discussing the Infernal Diana skin. I would like to emphasize that the intent was never to belittle the developers of that skin, but simply to share my honest opinion of the skin with respect to what many others had told me they thought of the skin. I would like to say that I really do appreciate all of the time and effort that goes into the making of the many skins that Riot does release. While Riot's art department has many extremely talented individuals, I'm not here to lick boots or sugar-coat the truth. Infernal Diana was not their best work in terms of ingenuity, cost efficiency, and creativity, and it wasn't very popular within the community as a result. These are simply facts. Hopefully, we can still get a response from a Riot official.

After doing some interest checking, I've determined that a lot of players were unsatisfied with the Infernal Diana skin you released earlier this year, Riot. Personally, I found myself rather unimpressed by it, as it simply didn't seem to fit her lore or personality. I bought it, although I hardly ever use it. The one redeeming quality of the skin, in my opinion, is the fact that the skills and effects feel very smooth and detailed. However, it simply isn't enough to justify the skin's lackluster presentation and quality, especially when you consider the fact that this skin was released after a period of about 2 years of Diana getting very little of Riot's attention.

During this time, there were no new skins, no buffs or nerfs, or any sort of communication from Riot concerning their plans for Diana in the future; the silence was deafening. Meanwhile, other champions who had come to be regarded as the poster children of league were getting their sixth or seventh skin. So when Infernal Diana was released, myself and many others were dismayed at the lackluster quality of the skin we had endured nearly two years of radio silence for. We thought Riot was planning something great, something the Diana mains community had been requesting for a long time, which leads me to the point of this post.

Diana deserves a QUALITY skin, not a thoughtless here-is-Diana-on-fire-for-no-particular-reason skin. Namely, many within the community have been requesting a Blood Moon Diana or PROJECT: Diana skin for years. Blood Moon Diana doesn't really need an explanation, and I am so surprised that it hasn't happened already. It really is quite grating because Diana is essentially the only champion who is a perfect thematic fit for the Blood Moon skin line. On the other hand, Leona has had a PROJECT skin for nearly a year now. And, as I said earlier, Diana is long overdue for a quality skin.

Even for those of you who do not main Diana, it must be clear as day--or night, I suppose--that she has been pretty neglected by Riot even though she is, by far, more popular than Leona. So, please don't troll this post or down vote it simply because you are indifferent to whether or not she gets a skin or not. For those of you who do agree, please comment below why you believe Diana could use some love.

@Riot: I would love to hear back with some idea of what you guys have planned for Diana in the future, because I fear she has been neglected gameplay-wise as well as thematically. There is such a huge demand for this, so please take the time to give many Diana players some peace of mind. Thank you for your time and consideration. I must agree about infernal Diana.... while the particle effects are absolutely gorgeous, there is no connection whatsoever between Diana, her lore, or her kit, and the skin. Especially when you consider she costs 1350, it is very much not worth it for someone who loves Diana as a champion. I appreciate the effort that did go into the skin, I think it was very well done in the end, but I think effort was pushed in very much the wrong direction. Diana deserved a new skin, but a fire or ice based skin wasn't the way to go.

Please, the Infernal Diana skin is basically a chroma. I was so hyped when they finally announced that she was getting a new skin, I've played her through thick and thin, and when the skin came out I bought it within 2 hours of release. And it was really disappointing. Ekko (Released pretty recently) already has as many skins as her. Please Riot, make a blood moon or something that looks good.

I main Diana myself and I have (sadly) found myself owning all of her skins. All of her skins including her base skin are lacking. In her base skin her hair moves like a stick (which was the reason that riot changed Janna's base skin). Dark Valkyrie is just as bad but worse. Lunar Goddess is actually a pretty nice skin but I feel as though this skin SHOULD have been a blood moon skin. As far as Infernal goes the skin is actually very cool because being on fire is just cool but as far as fitting with Diana it doesnt at all. Diana has a moon on her forehead and its part of her. On her infernal skin she is wearing like a three pronged crown and I really think that it ruined the skin. Also the textures are bad in comparison to the ryze skin reworks which is the level of art that they are on now.

Yeah, honestly even though I love Diana her Infernal skin is pretty meh compared to Lunar Godess.

Since it would appear they do one bit PROJECT: skin release yearly, perhaps she could get a skin for the new "Program" line. Tbh I think PROJECT: would fit better because it has a slightly darker, less pristine look to it whereas Program is really bright and computer-esque. I'd much rather see a PROJECT: skin for her, but I really don't want to wait another year xD

I think a Forsaken Diana Skin would be epic! That being said I also think that a project zero series next year with Diana being one of them would be pretty damn cool.

Sounds exactly like Nocturne.

His last released skin was in December 2012. After that they released cursed revenant (which I only even found out about a couple weeks ago), a 750 skin, and called it a day.

Sure, he has a legendary, but by today's standards it's definitely not a great legendary skin. And what he freaking gets is a 750 reskin? Like literally nothing has changed from ordinary nocturne except they put on a bunch of spiky armor.

Diana is def eligible for a project skin. Why? According to Project ashe's lines, she confirms that all the project people are humans. Diana is human. Also every single one of them have a very specific goal and somewhat interest to "join the project" just to see that they've been tricked (similar to aurelio {No typo}). She seeks the truth (similar to yasuo) so it makes sense that she would be in the project thing.

I agree, the infernal Diana doesn't feel right for the personality of Diana. plus it's way overpriced at 1350rp. It has a few new particles, which are like you said very pretty! But for 1350 I expect something extra. especially for a skin that has the same base model as wildfire Zyra. I was really excited that Diana finally got a new skin, but when it came out I was so disappointed. the splash art too, doesn't fit Diana's more mysterious character at all. The splash art would be fine for a champion like Katarina or something, but just not Diana. I mean, just look at her release splash art and music.. that doesn't fit with the infernal splash art at all.

About the blood moon skin, name wise it would obviously be the only right choice, however I heard that it doesn't really fit with her background with the whole league lore, but don't quote me on that ;) I'd still love a good Blood Moon skin :)

A project Diana skin would be soooo cool :D especially because Leona also has one and we all know Diana and Leona are like sisters ;)

Same applies for a Pool party skin tbh, I would LOVE to that skin :D

However, Riot does have to put more thought into those skins than they did with the infernal skin. Infernal feels like: "Oh, crap, we didn't expect Diana would win the vote.. hmm, do we have some fiery particles saying around? Yeah, the leftovers from wildfire zyra. Let's put it on Diana's model and call it a day. Oh wait, we need to be able to ask more money for it, so let's add some ability particles as well (which are, like I said very well done). Ok, it's a fan voted skin, so we can ask more than the reasonable 975, so let's make it 1350. Ok done! Let's wait a year and release it!"

No but seriously, I know there are more champions that have very little skins, coughYorickcough but most of them either get a rework, VU, or weren't released as much as 4 years ago. (exactly 4 years ago today actually). So Diana isn't the only champion that deserves a new high quality skin, I definitely think she should be very high up on the list.

Impulse bough Infernal Diana because she's my favorite mid laner. I haz regerts...I remember getting so pissed when all those champs got blood moon skins and Diana was overlooked. Like it was a no brainer

both. for project, combo of body 6, 7 and 8, with blade 4 or 5. blood moon is just a no brainer but I'd go with http://s27.postimg.org/k2swyzuvn/Blood_Moon_Diana.jpg and give her animations akin to bloodmoon thresh's recall.

Please, no more project skins. We have enough already. Make it program Diana because we only have two program skins
