Ideas to rework (tweak?) Nasus and make him a fresh and viable pick in competitive play!

I have always loved Nasus but find him lacking in the current seasons versus the other picks in top lane, and across the map. With all the different reworks coming down the pike I hope Nasus might be sometime soon, and have a few simple ideas to try and make him more viable in the competitive scene, without breaking who he is as a champion. I hope you enjoy my ideas and can find them useful!

The following ideas are bracketed based on [General idea that can be easily changed] and the specifics of how I think it should be used. (Why I think this idea could be viable for Nasus)

E -[Create a defensive value armor/mr/health regen or shield on Nasus' E that will proc with the spell's cast] in the same way it does on enemies within the circle upon casting, giving them the bonus for a short period of time. Maybe change size of aoe to fit the significance of placing it correctly. (This will give a more tactical placement to his E, as it holds more weight in a fight based on who it hits, and can make teamfights more interactive for an otherwise very linearly thinking champion)

Q -[Make Nasus' Q give more stacks/give temporary buff ~per cannon minion/scuttle or player kill stacks] in order to feel a healthy return/pivotal harrass point versus this champion. Buff -timed to 10 seconds or less- ideas include a small speed buff, a flat AD bonus per Q/champ lvl, or a temporary stat increase to something like lifesteal. (The need to contest Nasus has always been an important part of his playstyle, but the use of objectives to benefit him/teamfights or bait him can become a tactical and viable strategy across the map.)

W -[Balance the increase in power to his other two spells by shortening the range of his W] while keeping the already long and agonizing slow intact, or just slightly nerfing. (Nasus' W is extremely powerful and honestly the only reason he isn't completely unviable at the present time, simply because of it's ability to shut down a single enemy almost completely. By making this spell slightly shorter, while buffing his other spells, you give a tactical situation to how he places his other spells/farms and perhaps even engages during a gank. It will take more skill from the Nasus player to know how/when to use wither)

Passive -[Nasus Passive changed to a scaling AP per stack/HP% per stack] while changing the ratio on his E to encourage a hybrid or even AP build/or create the same or better effect of his lifesteal, while encouraging stacking and tank building. (Self explanatory, but a decent% return on his HP would make his laning a very interesting and engaging battle for him and his lane partner while providing a consistent and balanced return the entire game. AP Nasus just needs some love honestly :c )

So far these are the only ideas I have come up with but I thought they were worth sharing atleast, and I hope you consider them for the champion Nasus Nasus

Nasus is in a strange place because he is simultaneously very strong, and unviable. He is the perfect match to the 'Juggernaut' class, matching their strengths and weaknesses to the T. However, buffing him is probably not the answer to making him viable. Neither is nerfing him. Something needs to be altered that provides Nasus with a means to perform his job without making him stronger than he currently is.

Step 1: lower Nasus' damage to towers via his Q. <lower the damage his Q does to towers.> This will bring Nasus back to the level of other tanks in this regard, and push him away from his lone wolf playstyle.

Step 2: Nasus needs to be viable in lane, and his E is currently his saving grace. It permits him some ranged poke against his enemies. Concept: increase the potential duration and make it a semi-toggle. That is, he may toggle it off before the duration ends in order to save mana. (mana cost per tick.)

Anything else?
