Riot Card Game and Special Skins

I was inspired by the idea of what Adventure Quest Worlds mmo does, Artix Entertainment(Adventure Quest Worlds) has their own card game and sells special cards for the card game. In that special card, it comes with a code for an in-game character (Champion) or an armour (equivalent of a league skin). I thought that why don't Riot do the same and thus get more sales. The player gets something physical like the card or the card game and something digital like a skin in game. Riot gains more sales and players get a skin and like a card or maybe a figurine compared to just a skin before. Win-Win
