Aatrox Rework

I think its about time that Aatrox got an upgrade, I play a lot with Aatrox but for a champion with such an amazing lore he's a bit weak, his toggled on and off blood price / "W" are Aatrox's main problem I think Aatrox should go from every third strike heal or destroy to every second strike because Aatrox takes too long to heal and in a close range fight if Aatrox is low on health he needs to be able to heal when there isn't a good chance for him to use his "Q" to escape or his "Q" is on cooldown, the second problem is his "E" for an ability that's name is blade of torment I'm not seeing the torment, I think that the ability should either become faster and more powerful or give it an effect much like Teemo's mushrooms, so blade of torment deals damage overtime after being hit by it.

He's so far behind cause it only costs 800 gold to counter him...

Only that he does more than just healing.

Honestly with all the new champs and... the Poppy rework, Aatrox is kinda seeming left behind, and quite underwhelming.... I think his moves probably do need a rework.

He certainly needs a full rework. Aatrox's problem is his W, but different from what you think. I remember release Aatrox. His W was still every third hit, but the healing/damage was so much stronger, it forced Riot to nerf him into the ground so he wouldn't be op until they could rework him. Same problem happened with old Sion (full AP Sion was a thing - and a VERY scary thing), Poppy (full AD Poppy, ult the lowest damage enemy, proceed to 1v5 while invulnerable for the next 10 seconds), and Yorick (his mana costs were less oppressive, too much power in the ghouls), and several other champions. These guys have sorta become the "they'll get to them when they get to them, but until then everyone who plays them gets reported for trolling" class. Yorick is actually coming up (Meddler has said patch 6.19-6.21 is when they plan to get him). When they do the Diver class update, which they've talked about doing during mid-season 7, they're planning on covering Aatrox in that.

Awesome.

His Q's long travel time and E's strange hitbox are also problems in his kit that have to be addressed, though. I expect him to lose some power in his Q so the travel time can be shorter and get a big change to his W, possibly a big change to his E as well.

That is true, I can't remember how many times alistar cancelled my Q by ramming me while I was in mid air.

Though nothing is confirmed at this point. I've seen Rioter comments and posts by Rioters talking about several updates. They were debating assassins, divers, and tanks for the next one. They ended up choosing assassins, with the goal of introducing more opportunities to outplay and to be outplayed by assassins. Midseason 7 could be divers, tanks, or pretty much any other class update that hasn't been covered yet, but they have said that the divers are the ones they're most likely to pick for it because several divers are being left in the dust (Aatrox, Riven, Nocturne, Diana, Shyvana), while others are becoming too strong (Fiora).

Id just like to see a rework on his Passive and E ability. I like the rest of him tho. Maybe add something to his blood sword as a passive. Beens Nasus is a god, and you can tell hes a god with his late game damage, they could do something with Aatrox's bloodsword to make him more of a god. Aatrox is a god in his Lore, but doesnt play like one.

If they gave a passive like Nasus to Aatrox, Aatrox will become too OP, because Nasus when ever he uses his "Q" and kills a minion he gets added damage and his "Q" goes on cooldown, but Aatrox's sword can permanently be toggled on so every minion killed while toggled on will give him damage allowing Aatrox to get twice as much damage as Nasus.

I never said to make Nasus's Q aatrox's passive. I said to make him seem more like a god

Sorry I misunderstood but you have a good point, maybe blood thirst heals surrounding allies a percentage of the health Aatrox gets from enemy units and champions and blood price gives surrounding allies added attack damage on their second attack if his “W”changes from a three hit to a two hit when toggled on, I can see something like this working and it fits in with Aatrox's lore.

i'm going to be honest with you guys i play Aatrox a lot and i feel as if he gets out classed by a lot of people. Aatrox is not good as a full tank because of his health cost. ( jumps is a team fight as 5k health oh there's 500 hp gone that's a crit wroth of damage.) If he goes full damage he dies to quickly i mean that's a no brainier but he can't hit someone 3 times before he dies. Don't get me wrong you want to jump in on your third hit but after that you ded after that. the bruzer build is good like it always been. but you get my point hes not never good in most teams. its sad but hopefully he will be good after his rework. off topic here's a build that is really good on him if your top get bork &rageblade after that full tank if jg bloodrazer& rageblade after that full tank you heal every 2 hits and do pretty good damage with it. its just crazy try it some time i think you will like it. if your top and fighting a nas or the ROCK build rageblade first to when they attack speed slow you, you can heal every 2 hit to stay alive from it.
